Rated 5 out of 5 by BuckeyeBeaver Lots of work in a small tool!
Although it is primarily intended for small, emergency jobs, this little tool is very handy to carry in your fishing vest or tackle box, the glove compartment of your car, or in your boat or canoe. Small but mighty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by GreyWolf48 Nice portable multi-tool
Many reviews has said this product was difficult to use .... that is difficult to get out the individual tools, tools too small to be useful, etc. I have NOT found this to be to case. The tool access is fine, no problems getting them out, and it is a micro/mini-tool, so the size of the individual tools were as expected. If you want more that a high quality pocket tool, then you need to move to the larger, beefier multi-tools like the Leatherman Wave, etc.

This was to be a purse tool for my wife. It is very solid and appears to be well built. The problem is that the larger knife blade (which would probably see the most use) was so tight we had to use another tool to get it open. She wears her fingernails short, but still risked breaking them to get the knife open. Its too bad because it is a nice useful tool. Oh, and the LED did not work.

I had a Leatherman Juice that I ordered from LL Bean and used for years. It finally died and I'm looking for a replacement. I stumbled across this one and it looked like a good deal on a quality product. There are a few HUGE design flaws: 1) you can't access the scissors without first opening the knife. The tab is covered by the knife blade. The whole point of using these small tools is that they are a pocket knife/multitool. 2) the phillips screwdriver is a joke. It's small enough to work for glasses but that's about it. I used the Juice to tighten up doorknobs, assembly for small items, etc.
I love the idea of the LED light, but I didn't even try it once I saw that the scissors and screwdriver were basically useless.
With a few small design improvements, this could be a great multi-tool! But as it is, I'm returning it and spending more on a Leatherman Juice Xe6

good tool, lightweight and easy to use. Less bulky than the full tool when hiking

This is a handy little tool with a wide range of implements that so far have functioned well, better than expected in some cases. The phillips driver was stronger than I expected, and the scissors were easy to use and cut well.
Only drawback is that the LED light switch is hard to activate, a small pushbutton that takes a very determined push to turn the LED on or off. This is deliberate, I'm sure, because otherwise the LED would be turned on by accident a lot.
It is comfortable in my pocket, small and no noticable weight. A competent pocket tool with a lot of functions in a small package.

The best way to improve this handy little tool is to have a pouch to carry it in. If there is any way to make it lighter, that would be good too. Otherwise, everything works great and it is easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by brichar Affordable, Quality Multi Tool
This multi-tool fits nice in your hand. Not too big, not too small. The tools don't fall out when you go to use the pliers. I purchased this to use when I go fishing with my husband and with the none slip inserts on the handle it doesn't slip out of my hand when I am removing the hook from a fish. At 24.99 it can't be beat. Thanks LL Bean.

Hi:
I purchased this knife recently and am planning on returning it. It had a few problems.
First of all the blades and tools were very hard to open. My fingernail was not strong enough. So I tried a fingernail file to pry it open--and that was not strong enough either. Next I tried a table knife and that did the trick. But I don't want to have to carry a table knife in my pocket in order to be able to open my jack knife.
Also the red paint on the knife was easily scratched off by these other tools and now looks pretty bad.
Besides the difficulty in opening it and scratching, the light did not work. I did take out the two little paper spacers under the batteries--but it still did not work.
Also there was no ring on it, which I expected, so it could hang from a belt, or key chain.
The main blade was nice and sharp, and the other things mentioned above, like balance and weight and compactness I found to be pluses for the tool also.
Nonetheless I do not recommend it.

We were pleased when we received this item. It was purchased as a gift. It's a sturdy little tool and attractive. My husband will purchase another for himself. Nice item. I recommend it.
