Old Town has been making wood-and-canvas canoes for over a century, so it was natural to team up with them for this special limited-edition canoe. Made with a canoe form that was originally built in 1908, this boat features the same beautiful wood-and-canvas construction of Old Town's original canoes. This classic building process consists of drying the wood, bending the ribs onto the form and then stretching the canvas over the ribs. The result is a stunning canoe that's a joy to paddle. Ribs and planking are made from superdurable cedar. Flat bottom shape is exceptionally stable. Tumblehome sides and moderate rocker provide a nice mix of tracking ability and maneuverability. Only 10 of these individually numbered canoes will be produced. Made in Maine.
