I was pleasantly surprised by this shirt - by how soft the fabric is, by how little it wrinkles, and by the absolutely perfect length. I don't know how anyone can call it too long, as I'm only 5'2" and it is the perfect length on me! I bought it in blue, and my only complaint is that Bean has run out of many sizes and colors now and I can't order a second one in anything but white - which I don't need. Hurry up and get some more in!

Had the blue and the pink - had to buy the purple. It is gorgeous! It is a more fitted/shaped shirt - so if you are between sizes, suggest ordering up.
LLBean, is there any way to make a wrinkle free shirt in the heavier type fabric of this shirt (ie not pinpoint cotton - too thin/see through/clingy)? I iron the shirt, and by the time I circle around to complete the ironing job, the first panel is wrinkled again.

There are many things I like about this shirt. I got the blue and pink stripe, and am very happy with the colors. The fabric is thick and wonderful. The buttons are sturdy. The stitching is quality. The laundering is easy. But alas, the one thing that is most important just was not right, and that is the fit. This shirt is supposed to be "slightly fitted." According to the size chart, I measure a size large, which is what I ordered. The shirt was a bit wide through the shoulders. It was boxy in the body, and it was too tight around the upper hips. What a funky fit! I'm sorry to say I am returning it.

This is a wonderful Oxford shirt...not stiff or scratchy right from the package, but nice and soft. The green mint color was just as pictured and very pretty. I ordered a size Large (5'9" 174 lbs) and it fit perfectly...long enough to cover but not too long. It's a flattering fit too. I washed it today (just fluffed a bit in the dryer and hung to finish drying) and it came out nicely. Would love to have one of these shirts in every color.

I ordered a size M, usually get a L. The medium fit just right
with a little room for shrinkage. I haven't washed it yet,
so don't know about that. The length is about one inch too long for me, but I really like it anyway! Very pretty, nice fabric, looks like it will be easy to wash/dry without needing to iron.

So much better fabric, much softer hand then the previous oxford 3/4 shirts, but slightly tapered wish you had not done the taper shape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KLSM Love it! Order It A Size Down
After reading the reviews I ordered a size down - and, it is perfect. BUT, I wouldn't refer to it as 'fitted'. It fits really good around the bust, hips, shoulders, everywhere except there is alittle fullness around the waist. I ordered a SMALL size. I love the fabric, thicker like a 'real' oxford shirt should be. I like the 3/4 sleeves as I'm always rolling up the full sleeves. Thanks LLBean, this is gonna be one of my favorites.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Reviewer721 Still boxy
Like the pretty feminine pink colour and slightly fitted cut. It's still boxy - would LLBean consider making a more fitted version too? Suggest ordering down a size. I did and am glad. Cuffs on the arms are huge - and there isn't the option to slide over a button. Nice to have 3/4 length option, since I roll up the sleeves on full length anyway.

LOVEloveLOVE this shirt! I own several...in fact I've had one for maybe 16-17 years that finally wore out:-( It was kiwi green and I want another in the same color, but I don't see it this color. Needs NO ironing & great for travel. HIGHLY recommended!

This is the perfect Saturday oxford! The fabric is soft yet substantial, like oxford shirts used to be 30 years ago. The finishing details, like flat-felled seams, a locker loop, and plackets stitched-down on both fronts are just as they should be (but so often are not!). The fit is perfect for Saturday errands; it is not tight like darted shirts, and it is not baggy and shapeless either. It just skims the body. The length is just right on me (5'4"); it covers the widest part of me, but ends well before a tunic length. I love, love, love this shirt! (Can you make it in a peach or red color?)
