Rated 5 out of 5�by victorlglass Nice Belt Typical braided braided belt does not compare. This is a substantial belt that can be used informally or more dressy, beautiful leather, I chose brown. I am a 36 waist but ordered a 34 as suggested in other reviews, so do 2 sizes less. It's a little pricey compared to the cheaper belts, but as I said there is no comparison. May 15, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by HeyDawg Good so far thanks to earlier reviews My waist size is about 38, so I use size 40 for non-braided belts based on the manufacturers' recommendations. Before ordering this belt, I read all of the reviews. The only negative I remember is the multitude of comments about the length being too long. I decided to heed the warnings of many faithful buyers, and I am glad I did. I ordered a size 38 instead of 40. The belt fits fine after a few wearings. It is still almost two inches longer than a competitive braided size 38 that is about 10 years old. Based on what I see with the belt right now, it should get a 5-star rating. I'm thinking the length issue will stretch itself to a lower than four star rating. Hope not! I wonder if LLBean would be better off telling their buyers to put a little negative windage on the size they order. May 1, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by Crockerdt Runs long! Great belt, but as noted by other reviewers the belt runs long. I have a 32 waist so normally order a 34 belt. But in this case I had to return the 34 and order a 32. I suggest that LL Bean note this in the product description. April 5, 2013
