This sweater is proof that you can indeed improve upon the basic cotton sweater. We've updated it with a straight fit through the body. It's made of 100% cotton, combed to remove the shorter, weaker fibers to create a stronger, smoother fabric. The yarn is expertly spun to help prevent pilling and dyed before it's knit to guarantee better color retention after washing. A tighter knit helps the sweater keeps its shape, wash after wash. Imported. Machine wash, dry flat.

He isnt even a sweater guy, he owns probably 2! It is true to size. He is 200 lbs. 6ft. I bought him an XL.I dont think I will put in dryer though. I dont want it to shrink. It fits perfect now.The sleeves are perfect length.His arms are a little long and the sweater was fine. I got the black and it looks soooo......nice. Could be dressy or casual. December 26, 2012

Bean, one of my favorite companies, came out with this one. The cotton is just as it should be:thick enough not to be too malleable or stretch, but not so thick as to make you wonder why it's made of cotton instead of wool. Just the weight that cotton should be as well, not too hot but good enough for fall or warm winter days. It also layers well because of its fit and thickness. Overall, a great sweater which I am very happy I bought. September 9, 2012

I would love it if they offered this sweater with patches on the elbows as I tend to go through the elbows after a few years.....but these are the only sweaters I wear all winter.
