This rug is perfect for our living area. It is well made and I love the light beige colors. It has nice contrasts without being busy. My husband keeps saying, "I really like this rug".

I bought this for our three season porch and the first time my dog stepped foot on the rug his nail caught on on of the loose loops. I expected more from and indoor/outdoor rug and especially from LL Bean. It is too big for me to return and I have already paid extra shipping costs.

This rug was even better than it looked in the catalogue since we were quite anxious about the color green. It fit perfectly where we wanted it to and has a real durability to it. The only very minor concern is some fraying at the border but I clipped off the loose ends and I think it'll be fine. Only time will tell.

We've only had the rug for one week, but it's doing fine. The rug arrived quickly and in good condition. It was easy to unroll and set in place, and we had to add some weights around the edge to keep it flat, but only for the first day. The color was very close to the screen image and overall it appears to be of very good quality. We were concerned that our cats would cause pulls in the weave but so far it's held up very well. We use a pad under it to keep it in place.

The rug is perfect in our home. I was a little worried because some people had mentioned a strong chemical smell when they first got it, but I didn't notice any smell at all! We have it on top of carpet in our family room. Looks great and protects the carpet in front of the couch where carpet always gets so dirty.

This is my second purchase of the same rug. Excellent for use under my office chair. Prevents slipping on the hardwood floors and is very good looking. Any spills I've had on my older one clean up fine. Good quality.

Maireadsmama Rug is fine but color is all wrong!
I'm deciding whether or not to return the rug - it is pretty and of good quality, but I am amazed at how very different the color is than from online. I am an experienced online shopper and am aware that colors may vary on a computer screen, but I do desktop publishing work and have a Mac that is calibrated to show colors as accurately as possible. The rug I received is a much, much lighter shade than the picture on the site, the palest of greens. Bottom line - buyer beware. If the "Sprout" you see onscreen is the color you must have, I wouldn't recommend this rug. [I am adding two photos of the rug, one taken in daylight and one with incandescent light.]
PS No bad smell as mentioned in other reviews but loads of white dust falling off the bottom when I unwrapped it. Took it out into the driveway to keep the junk getting all over my floor.

I got the small size for my kitchen. It had no odor at all. I was afraid that after reading other reviews that it would. You do have to put down a rug pad to keep it from slipping.

After 4 weeks, this rug still gave off a potent smell of off-gassing. It irritated our eyes and noses. Completely unacceptable. I'm returning it. So disappointed, especially after reading other reviews.
