We love this fleece! Bought one in 2T last fall for our 2 year old and he's still wearing it. Bought another in 3T for when he outgrows the 2T; we like it that much! He will turn three in April and still fits the 2T fine...might run a bit big, but nice because it lasts for a long time, and can wear a sweatshirt under if needed! Have had no issues with piling...still looks really nice even after wearing many times.

I ordered the solid blue fleece for my daughter (she has way too much pink!) in a 3T. She is 31lbs and about 37 inches tall. It's pretty big. Maybe because it was blue and more likely for a boy so cut bigger? Not sure. Great quality though.

I gave these as presents to the 2 year old twin daughters of a friend. I purchased them in 3T because I was hoping that the girls would get 2 years of use from them. Their mom says that the fleece is a little large, mostly long sleeves which she just cuffs up, and that the twins both love their pink fleece jackets. They are very soft and the hoods stay on their heads. Mom used them alone in fall and is layering them under a warmer jacket in winter. These were great gifts that are getting tons of use and I am glad that this is such a wonderful jacket.
I definitely say that it runs true to size. Washes well without pilling or shrinking.
The girls love the softness and putting the jacket on is not a chore for mom.
All in all a super fleece!

I ordered this for my daughter, who is average size for her age (11-months), so I ordered the 12-18 month so she could wear layers underneath and so it would last her through the winter. Wow - It is so big that I will either need to either exchange it or save it for next winter!

i ordered two for my twin granddaughters. This fleece jacket was very light weight for the price. It would not due for a fall jacket which I use mine for.

Serafineste Multiple purchases
My twins girls have now had this fleece in several sizes as they have grown as they are so popular and practical. The fleece is thicker than other fleeces, but not bulky. It keeps them warm and toasty, and looking good. And it washes really well! My friends all look forward to their Bean hand-me-downs!

I did endless research on a jacket that would be good for outdoor play for my toddler during the fall. I ordered a 2t for my 2 year old and it fits perfect, even with room that will probably take her into the early Spring! I think the hood is amazing, it fits perfectly around her head and doesn't come off. It is great because she isn't fond of wearing a hat... For the price, quality and functionality I would highy recommend this jacket for other parents...this jacket in my opinion is fantastic! Goodluck

I have ordered LLBeans fleece jacket for my child every year for the last 4 years and loved it because the hood fit snugly around his face! I ordered it for my younger child recently and was disappointed to find out that LLBean has changed the design of the hood. It is no longer snug around the childs face to protect from the cold and wind. The hood is loose and open around the face. I am returning the jacket I purchased. I hope that next year LLBean will change back the design so that it fits snugly around the face, because it was one of my favorite fleece jackets for my children. I liked to layer this jacket with a down vest on colder days. I liked that my children did not have to wear a hat with this jacket. This jacket now requires a hat to be worn with it, so why have a hood if you have to wear a hat with it? I didn't have to worry about them losing their hat when they were able to wear it without a hat.

Both of my kids love their Trail Model fleece jackets! The colors are bright, the material is durable and very soft. The jackets wash well and don't pill.

I bought size 2T for my 17 month old son (he's tall) and this is the perfect jacket. the fit is great. the jacket is warm and ideal for cool fall days.
