Keens are pretty much the only shoes I wear. As soon as I put them on my feet are happy!

I have tried to find cheaper shoes that I am happy with but I just cannot find any that can compete with Keen. The Targhee is a very comfortable and stable shoe. I do not turn my ankles in these shoes as I do in some others. I would say they run a smidge small. I still wear my usual size but I could almost wear a half size larger. I tried on the half size larger in a store. Ultimately I stayed with the usual size and I'm glad that I did--no slipping.

I ordered a half size larger than my shoe size. They were so comfortable with the toe box with room to wiggle the toes. I ordered medium width. I could Not get the shoe tight enough to prevent my heel from coming up ALOT. I could only see blisters in my future, so I had to return the shoe.
My husband ordered the men's version and had the same problem. They were both returned.

A great day hiking shoe that keeps my feet dry. Round toe box works very well for my feet. The tread is very dependable on steep terrain.

I've finally found the perfect shoe for early morning dog walks through wet grass and muddy trails. Ordered half size larger than usual and they fitted perfectly right out of the box and I've worn them with mid- weight socks every day since. Well worth the extra $s.

I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my regular size. Even with this, the shoe was just a tad bit too short--I could feel my toes hitting the end of the shoe. A full size up probably would have been too large, so I ended up returning the shoes )-: Other than the sizing being off, this shoe is very well made and is great looking.

I have a pair of Keen Venice Sandals, which I like them very much, so I decided to try these Keen Hikers. And I'm glad I did.
They are very comfortable, well made and sturdy. The fit is great, with plenty of toe room. They are light weight, and good looking too.
