I just bought this suit to replace two previous LL Bean suits that are identical to this, except in color. In true Bean fashion, they're beautifully made and of good material---no thin, cheap stuff here! The style is as attractive as it is comfortable, and I imagine it flatters various kinds of figures. This and its two predecessors have been the best suits I ever owned for looks, comfort, and durability.

I bought this swim dress in 4 different colors and love all of them. The fit is flattering and comfortable. The skirt length is perfect for optimal coverage. The fit is true to size and the price is reasonable for the superior quality.

Size 8 Petite fits perfect and looks good on my 5' 2.5", 130 lb body. Cut is flattering and skirt falls nicely over top of thigh's "trouble area". Good bra support but not too busty. Halter and X-back flattering for my slightly muscular shoulders and back. Green polka dot colour great with my pale skin and blonde hair.
Overall, love this hassle-free bathing suit experience!

Fits great and is a particularly flattering length -
I ordered the Long length as I am 5'8" and it covers everything I need it to w/o pulling or tugging. I expect to get lots of use from this suit!

Last summer I bought the halter swimdress in black, and in a D-Cup size, and I LOVED it. The only downside was the halter irritated the back of my neck on very hot days, so this suit seemed like the perfect solution. However, since this didn't come in a D-Cup size, it just doesn't fit right up top. I still gave it a 3-star rating because it fits perfectly everywhere else, and I'm sure it would be great for someone with a smaller bust.
I'm really disappointed and will be returning it... And unfortunately, since I don't like any of the other swimsuits that do come in a D-Cup this year, I may have to get a suit elsewhere.

I purchased this Swimdress last summer in Black. I received so many compliments, as it definitely was flattering..(helped to smooth the area's needing to be smoothed, and covered the area's needing to be covered!!). I did notice it was a little"heavy" coming out of the pool, "holding" more water than other Suit's I have. Regardless, of this observation, I will be ordering this Swimdress again. Please L.L.Bean, bring back the Solid Colors. I surely will be checking your Web Site often!!

i just receved the black color ,iam 51 years old , cup 36 D 5.10 h and 145 lb , i ordered size 10 & iam very glad about the fit ,its comforable and cute so i ordered one more in blue! the reason that i did not give 5 stars is that it needs a little more support in bust and a little more fabric in the sides.( i can correct it my self so for me it is good!) i didnt tryed it for swimming yet, but i hope that its good as it looks!!

this swimsuit feels nice but when wet it gets heavy. it holds a lot of water. the skirt floats up unless swimming, leg openings are too loose.

After reading the reviews, I bought this suit in a Long and am very happy with it. Quite flattering as I have a pear-shaped figure, and my husband likes it on me a lot. Looking forward to more swimsuits in the future like this one.

I just got this suit today so I can't speak to durability but it looks good and feels good on. This bathng suit is just perfect! Halter top suits are uncomfortable on the back of my neck and regular straps just fall off sometimes causing a wardrobe malfunction :) The scrunchi in the back is adjustable and the print is pretty and the suit doesn't look "matronly". I am over 60, although I feel much younger and am active so I wanted a suit to fit my personality and once again, it's perfect! Thanks L.L.Bean this is a winner!
