I never wear tank tops. This one changed my mind. I especially like the fabric and the fact that it is fashioned to come high under the armholes-hides the fat! Love it and I am ordering more!

I love these tanks. I can never find tanks that fit me well, but these are perfect. They cover my bra straps and the arm holes are cut just right. They cover all the fat! Nice, comfortable fabric. True to size for llbean. I wear a large in all of their cotton shirts.

These un-shrinkage tanks are right down my alley! Flattering with just the right amount of a form-fitting silhouette to make me feel good about myself. I have purchased these in a number of colors as they can be used with almost any outfit & are perfect for layering. I'm 5'6", 150 lbs (38.5" X 33" X 38.5) and the medium works like a charm!

I ordered these instead of the all cotton shells. In warmer climates, the spandex makes for an uncomfortablly warm and close fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nick0 Solid basic tank.
I layer with tanks almost every day, and Bean tanks are staples for my wardrobe. These ones were okay. I had worried a bit about the gaping and puckering arm holes I saw mentioned in prior reviews but, after a wash (machine dry warm), the fit was much improved.
I am not a particular fan of the cotton/spandex fabric blend. It adds nothing flattering to the drape and seems to hang oddly around my breasts. The Double L Rib Knit style looks much more flattering on me. (I'm a 5'4'', 120 lb, A-cup petite; purchased size Misses Regular XS.)

I loved the color (Wisteria) but the straps were too narrow. I like for the tank straps to cover my bra straps, and this one doesn't. (The picture is a little deceiving in that respect). Also, I like a higher neckline.

Rated 4 out of 5 by oldmombutglam nice shirt but wrong size
I've been gaining weight :( so I got an XL. It fits nicely over my hips and so on, but it's way too big in the top. Maybe I will shorten the shoulders. It's a nice shirt but it doesn't fit my body. Maybe a L will fit better!

Rated 2 out of 5 by SunbeltGirl This tank puckers out on the arm holes.
These tank tops totally did not work for me. I live in a very hot climate so I spend the summer in sleeveless tops. I bought 8 of these in a small in different colors. I tried on the first one, when they came and the arm holes puckered out right above my boobs. Then I tried on two more thinking it was just the one but none of them fit. Clearly I am not made for this tank top. So then I bought a Medium thinking maybe the small was two small. The medium puckers out on me too. However, the one with a crew neck did fit. So I gave this 2 stars, not because it's poorly made, but just because I followed the size chart but it looked terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SeaCapeCod Does not cover bra straps
The cut of this top is horrible. I tried it with 3 different bras, the straps showed with all. Not just a peak of the strap either. Hate the fabric. Please bring back the rib knit 100 percent cotton tank tops! They are perfect for layering in winter, wearing alone in summer. They do not cling. Bra straps do not show. The shape and length were perfect. the neckline was perfect, not too high and not too low.

I ordered this in a size XL and just wore it for the first time today. I would buy it in almost every color but there are very few to choose from in my size. I'm busty and short-waisted and it fit perfectly, and didn't ride up or slide around under a cardigan. It's much better than a regular tank top because it's a little thinner fabric and form-fitting without being immodest. Make it in NAVY, please!
