This tank is very soft, not at all sheer, and fits well (and not like a sack). I am very happy with it.

I was slightly hesitant to purchase this tank as some of the reviews were quite negative, but gave it a try as the color I wanted was on sale. It is a fitted top, but the Size M fit me perfectly without being too tight. It covers my bra straps, always a plus as I don't like to wear a strapless bra. I like the fact that it has a scooped neck, something LL Bean should considering offering in their supima t-shirt collection as that tank is nice but the higher, rounded neckline isn't flattering on an older woman as it draws too much attention too the neck. This tank is perfect in that respect. Just wish it came in more colors.

This shirt is not quite what I was looking for. I don't care much for the fabric, it feels a bit too stiff and artificial and doesn't have good drape. On the plus side, I bought it in ivory and it is substantial enough not to be see-through. The biggest problem is that on me, the front of the arm holes gap/flare out quite a bit. I am 5'2", 117lb with a fairly small bust, but the S didn't quite fit right, and I suspect an XS would have been uncomfortably tight. As promised, it did not shrink after wash & dryer.

I was very disappointed in this tank. The straps are skinny and poorly placed. It gave me very poor coverage. Straight back it goes.

I live in Florida and I like to wear tank top around the house. I like that this tank is thick enough that I can wear it by itself. The cloth is soft and comfortable, and Dark Amethyst is a beautiful color. I am 5'2" and 120 lbs. and I normally wear XS in LL Bean shirts. However, because of spandex, size XS for this tank "hugs" my body more than usual. Since I am going to wear this around the house, I want a more relaxed fit, so I am exchanging my purchase for size Small.

I also found the armholes too big. Funny, as some people seem to find the fit really good. But for me, in particular, the front of the straps left a big gap so you could see right through to my bra. I bought a size M as I'm a slim-ish size 10 and the rest of the vest fitted me fine. Disappointed as the shirt itself was nice quality.

Why doesn't this top cover my bra straps in the back? I am 5'4" and 138 lbs.....average for my age, not a twig. I am large busted (sigh...) so ordered a size large. It looked great from the front, not too tight, not too loose, but not good in back. The arm holes, also, seemed too full. Maybe a medium would have been better, but then it would have been way to tight! Please offer a tank with better coverage in a classic fit. 100% cotton would be better suited for summer wear.
I loved the color offerings, so was disappointed to have to return them.

I have been going through the LL sleeveless shirts trying to find one that works for me. Sadly this one does not work. I liked the look and feel of the fabric but it pulled across the front. I normally wear a medium in LL shirts but this one was too tight. I realize that it is supposed to be more fitted but it was just not comfortable and did not drape right. I have other shirts of this type and do not have this problem. I have yet to find a sleeveless LL shirt that is not either too short, too tight, or has the right armhole size. I returned this shirt.

I ordered this tank in Indigo last summer and the fit was great. I am usually a small, I'm 5'3" and a little busty. It's small enough that I can comfortably wear it under sweaters and shirts, but not so clingy that I can't wear it solo when it's hot out. As an added bonus, the arm holes and neck line are just right--covers my bra and doesn't shift around or need tugging to stay put. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 5 because I ordered a second one in black (same style and size) and it's huge on me. It's much wider, the arm holes gape and it's too big to wear comfortably under other clothing, but unflattering to wear on it's own. I'm sending it back which is really a pain. LL Bean--I'm disappointed. I've always been able to count on consistent sizing, but something is lacking with your quality control lately. Selecting a size shouldn't be a guessing game especially when ordering the same product.
