Rated 5 out of 5 by SouthernCups Just Perfect For Summer
I had tried a pair of these in the slip-on style and was not comfortable with them. Being from the south, I hardly ever wear socks. I tried other brands and had same problem. So, I decided to try these lace-ups. PERFECTION!!! Great fit, cool, pretty and no socks needed. Thanks, LLB. These were going to be my last resort. I love em!

I wear size 11 shoes which are not always easy to find especially in stores. I also have a problem with my feet swelling later in the day and need a shoe that will allow for that. This shoe is great and I can enjoy wearing it all day in comfort. Thanks!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by maidofkent Lining seams uncomfortable
Shoes fit well, but the inner lining has prominent seams down the right and left hand sides mid-foot which irritated the sides of my feet and were beginning to cause blisters, even when wearing socks. I didn't want to return them as I've had trouble finding well made durable canvas shoes that fit. I solved the problem by sticking squares of moleskin over the seams, smoothing them out. So far this is working fine. But shoppers with sensitive feet should make sure the seams won't cause them a similar problem.

I bought these shoes hoping they would fit and be comfortable all day long. They fit the bill(and me) the first time I wore them! As someone else mentioned, the blue color is somewhat more faded than it appears in the photo, but I like the way they look. Often, even medium width shoes are too small in the toe box. That is not the case with these shoes, although when I first slipped my feet into them, I thought I might need a bit more width for my toes. I am "saving" them for a summer trip to Maine but have worn them enough to know they will be just right.

the color which was supposed to be white was more looking like pink. I did not like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wildlifecrusader Great shoe but not very wide.
I've been wearing my deck shoes for two days now to make sure they fit comfortably before I write my review. So far so good but I do have a couple of comments. First, I bought the wide shoe since my feet have spread to a size 8DD over the years. This shoe barely fit. When I first tried it on it was very snug in the widest part of my foot and I thought I'd have to return it. It has stretched out a bit and is comfortable with a light sock but at the end of the day as my feet swell I'll probably have to change into something more comfortable. If I had sized up the toe would have been way too long so I'm happy that these worked out. Having said that, these are great looking deck shoes and seem to be well made.

I bought canvas "boat shoes" five or six years ago from you and they were fabulous. Perfect fitting, thick rubber soles, etc. Unfortunately, I wore and washed these so often they are finally falling apart. These that I bought most recently are obviously from a different maker. The soles are not as thick and the front end of the shoe is oddly long looking. I took a half size smaller than normal. One other complaint I have although not about these particular shoes is that in general your men's sneakers, boat shoes and hiking shoes come in much better colors than the women's like gray and olive. Last fall, I would have bought 3 or 4 pair if the available colors weren't so feminine. While I'm on that subject - the same goes for the plaids and madras fabrics used to make shirts. Not all women wear pink; come to think of it, not many my age do at all anymore!

These shoes hurt my feet so much... There is a very misplaced bump in the middle of the sole which i assume is supposed to be for an arch but it is in the middle of the sole! By the end of the day my feet Ache... Too bad because they are pretty cute otherwise..
