This boots are awesome. Don't forget to read the insert about sizing; I almost thought they were too big before I learned about the "thumb test". Super warm and can't wait to break them in!

I love these boots. A little hard to put them on at first but after u wear them at few times they soften up. I am size 9 and ordered a size 8 and fit me perfectly but if ur r orderin the insoles u need to get ur actual size . Keeps ur feet warm, dry and comfortable .

I recently ordered the 8" boots with Thinsulate in a 9, but came to find out they were too big, even with thick socks. So, I decided to order down a size in the boot I originally wanted, the bison boot. Upon opening the box and trying them on, I would not have it any other way! The boots are comfortable, fit amazingly, stylish, with no need to be broken in because the bison is very soft. I absolutely love them. The red sole is different in a good way. Many people have the traditional brown and tan Bean Boots, so if you order these, you'll likely stand out and absolutely love it.

LOVE these boots. I am currently living in NYC and when the snow started coming in February I needed something to keep my feet warm and dry - these boots were it! Not only do they look super cute and trendy but they are very comfortable. I wear them nearly everyday and can wear them with a lot of different outfits.
GET THEM! You won't regret it! I see these being a staple in my wardrobe for many years to come.

I didn't like these boots. I have to return them because they cost so much. I thought they would be able to handle the rain, but the first day I wore them, my toes got wet. Is that supposed to happen with these boots? Anyway, they felt alright and look nice, but they are not practical for the rain...so I don't know why I would use them.

Highly recommend these boots. Comfortable right out of the box. Love the look of the dark leather with the brown rubber. Be sure to order a size down. I am normally a size 8 for all my shoes and ordered a 7 in these, and they fit very well. You won't regret getting these, and I suspect they will last for many years to come!

I usually wear a 10/11 size shoe, but I ordered the 10 in these and they were too big (which came as a surprise with the size of my feet)! So I then ordered the 9 and they fit great! I love slipping them on with a thick, warm sock. They support and shape to your foot and keep you warm as well as wear in nicely and can be worn with anything!

I got these boots for my daughter, who must trudge aound a mid-NY-state campus all winter. She LOVES them -- the fit is great (ordered down a half size), they're very warm and she likes the look. Had them shipped directly to the college and they were there virtually overnight. Wonderful.

I am a true 7, but went with the other reviewers' advice and got a size 6.. very happy that I did- the 6 fits perfectly.
These boots are extremely comfortable, and extremely warm- definitely well-made. I would recommend these to anyone.

I had been looking for a solid pair of rain/harsh weather boots but couldn't find anything I loved or that I thought was truly worth the money. I always heard how great LL Bean boots were but was never a big fan of the traditional black and tan boot. When I stumbled across this brown color, I knew I had to have it. I considered buying the shearling lined pair, but since I live in the south where we rarely get weather cold enough to need that much warmth, I figured I'd just stick to thicker socks when needed. I'm always hesitant to buy shoes without trying them on as I can wear anything from an 8 to a 9.5 comfortably, depending on the shoe. After reading the reviews about how large this boot runs, I ordered the 8. I was really scared they might be too narrow as my foot is a little wide and I run into that problem often in boots. Thankfully, they fit like a dream! I can wear thin or thick socks and still be comfortable in these boots for hours. It's funny that these boots arrived the day before we had a rare day of harsh weather in the south - my feet were dry and toasty all day long. The leather was softer than I thought it would be, which is a good thing. I hate shoes that have to be broken in and was surprised at how well these wore straight from the box. The red sole is my favorite part; such a fun addition to a wonderful boot!
