The comfort waist feature is important when I am ordering pants. It is especially important to me in the warmer months. In addition, the overall fit is what I want in either a casual or dress pant and these fit the bill perfectly. The fabric is wrinkle free and could have been work right out of the delivery package. I am very pleased and highly recommend these. Another good job from LL Bean!

The hidden waist defeats the purpose of adding elastic to these capris. It creates a gap when you sit down or do other movements that makes the waist stretch.
PLEASE go back to the hidden waist capri. That was a wonderful design for those of us with a slimmer waist than hips

The pants were cute enough until I put them on...found the pockets bulged terribly on my apple shaped figure. I will be sending them back.

I love these cropped pants. Ordered two sizes and ended up keeping the larger size. Pockets gapped considerably on the smaller pair, but were better (still gapped some) on the larger pair. Very comfortable. Fit nice in the hip and the rise. A little longer than I would like.

I do not like these pants at all. Waist is too tight and legs are way too loose. They are not comfortable to wear for very long at all. I have 2 pair of them and I always feel like I'm wearing a big bag around both thighs. The fabric is great but the cut is terrible! I've had these quite a while but have only worn them 3 or 4 times.

I love these pants. The hidden comfort waist band is ingenious. Wish they came in more colors, especially a khaki green.

Rated 4 out of 5 by YetAnotherbeanfan Order a size up
I wish I could amend my prior review. When the size 10's were too tight on me I ordered size 12's, and they fit fine. My recommendation is to order a size larger than you normally would. I'd say it was me - that I gained weight - if I had not slipped out of my perfectly-fitting size 10 regular-length Bayside twills to try these on. The size 12 cropped pants fit in the waist and hips the same way as the size 10 regular length. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs - since I'm long in the waist and shorter in the legs I ordered the 21" Petite inseam, and they fall mid-calf. I got the khaki, which is a light khaki, and navy, and am so relieved to have 2 new pair of cropped pants for the warm weather.

I wear LLBean Bayside twill pants all the time, and size 10 fits me perfectly. Last year I ordered a pair of cropped pants - the easy stretch - in size 10, but in Petite, since I wanted the shorter inseam (I don't like cropped pants that flap around the middle of your calves). I kept them but shouldn't have - they were too snug from the start. So this year I made sure to try a different style - these Bayside Twill cropped pants - again I ordered size 10 in Petite inseam. They just came - what a disappointment! Also too tight in the waist and hips. I ordered size 12 and hope that they fit. I spoke to someone on the phone who suggested that the problem may be the Petite - that the 'leg openings' may be smaller. We'll see. Why should this be so hard???

If you tuck in your shirts these capris with the hidden comfort waist are great. Since I don't tuck in my shirts, I wish they were also available in the original comfort waist with the elastic in the back, which is a little more forgiving of having that dessert you just _can't_ pass up....

I usually order the twill crop pants and capris?but the stone capris were sold out. So, I decided to order these, they didn't fit as well as the twill? tight?. so back they went...
