Rated 4 out of 5 by LMSmith Love fabric, Sizing off
I originally ordered the regular length because I am right at the cutoff between petite and regular. I ordered my normal size 6. It was a little roomy, but not too much. It was too long though - for this style of dress, it looked like a nightgown. I waited for the petite to come back in stock and ordered a 6 petite. The length was perfect, but the body of the dress was much different - very large through the torso. I am hoping that a 4 petite comes back in stock - will try that and hope that it works.
The fabric is super soft and comfy.

Love this dress which arrived the other week. I had been considering it since last year and alas, by the time I decided. my size was gone!
It is comfy and flattering at the same time. I am most happy that it has a light cotton lining. In the past I had been disappointed by cool, breatheable cotton and linen garments fitted with a polyester lining. I look forward to enjoying this all summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tibblesmjm Love this dress!!
I received this cute little dress in the mail yesterday.i saw this dress last year and I wanted buy it then but I waited to see if it would go on sale and by the time it did my size had sold out! I was really bummed and vowed I wouldn't let the same thing happen this year. I'm so glad I got it- it is seriously cute and well made and I can even wear a thin short sleeved shirt under it if I want to. I want to get the seersucker dress for my Mom for Mother's Day- she loves SS like I love plaid. Thanks for the wonderful addition to my closet!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chesterp This cornflower Madras Dress is a WINNER ! ! !
I just LOVE madras and bought the shorts last year. . .just THRILLED with this Madras Dress! I am a picky seamstress and have to say this dress was a lot of work with all the patches and the lining - it is sewn wonderfully and will get worn a lot while running around New England this spring and summer :-)

Just received this dress after a long wait. The fabric is not a printed or woven madras but made up of small squares sewn together. I ordered size 8 (I am usually a 10 or 12) but it still gaped under the arms. The armholes are far too large. A great disappointment and not up to usual Bean quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rosairie Nice dress, too short
I am 5'8" and usually wear a size 8 or 10 in LL Bean's women's clothing. Sadly the Kennebunkport Seersucker dress in size 10 was way too short for me. I love the fabric and I think it is well made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ShopWay2Much Longer than expected
I am 5' 6-1/2" and this dress in a 16 was about 2 inches too long. Size 16 is my usual size for blouses and this fit fine in the bust and sides, but the length is not as reported (above knee) for regular sizing. I have not decided if I want to bother hemming it (it is lined and has a nice hidden side zipper) or just return and get a different style dress. Casual summer dresses like this need to be mid or just above knee. Also I feel that it is missing side pockets--that is ideal for casual wear like this dress. It is well constructed all cotton (lining and outer material). Just not great for me. Would be perfect for a tall woman. PLEASE add length specifications to your website catalog.

Rated 2 out of 5 by KareninCA Too Long
I am 5'4", 140lbs. 34C. I ordered the size 8 and it fit well in the bust; but was too wide from there on and too long, so it hung on me. Not fitted like in the photo.. Description says it hits above the knee; it hit me right at the knee. My husband thought it looked like a dress they show in old movies of women in prison; not flattering. So, i am returning it and not re-ordering.
I did give it 2 stars because the construction was very good.

This is a very cute, well made dress but runs huge in sizing. I "swam" in the size 4. It is more like a size 6 or 8.

Rated 4 out of 5 by swiftshopper Too big - make a size 2!
At 65" and 120# I was hoping the size 4 would work. Unfortunately, it hangs off of me. They don't make a size 2 so I guess we smaller women are out of luck!
