I had purchased a pair of LL Bean slippers for my son, and he is quite satisfied with the fit and comfort; consequently, I purchased a pair for me. I find the fit and comfort to be perfect.

I have a hard-to-fit shoe/slipper size, especially the width (4A), so I'm always skeptical about buying them on-line or by phone. I decided to chance it because many of the reviews said these slippers ran on the narrow side and my call to LL Bean confirmed this. The person I spoke with also suggested I order a half size down from my regular shoe size (8 1/2). I'm so glad I did! They fit very well and are very comfortable. So far they're the best I've worn. I won't hesitate to order them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for good looking, comfortable sliippers.

I love these slippers. I wear an 8.5 normally so I bought an 8. They fit snug in the toe section, but after wearing them for a couple of weeks I noticed they have loosened up a bit there. The fit is great and they wear very well now. We walk the dogs around the block every night and I wear them for that as well because the sole is so durable.

I bought these slippers after being disappointed in the quality of slippers purchased at a discount store. These slippers are the complete opposite of those. They are the highest quality and completely comfortable from the moment I put them on. They offer foot support yet still feel like slippers. They are very warm. The sole grips well.

I had been trying to find a moccasin style/shoe slipper for some time.
I finally bit the bullet and ordered exactly what I wanted from Bean. I usually wear a sz 9 so that is what I ordered. I did find them to be a little large, but after waiting so long to buy them, I did not want to send them back for a smaller pair. I padded the inside of the toe just a little, and now I love the slippers. They have enough sole that I don't slip on the stairs, and they are snug and comfy.

The fleece lining makes these slippers very cozy and warm. They are beautifully made and the rubber outsole is excellent. They run a bit narrow in the foot but they loosen up a little after a couple of weeks of wear. Great slipper at a reasonable price.

The last word in comfort -- handsome and well made, adapt to the wearer's feet. Mine are narrow and these slippers seem to be made for me though appear flexible enough to adapt to a wider foot. Perfect for lounging indoors but not ideal for outdoor walking.

I bought these slippers for years. Unfortunately, the latest release of them does not fit my feet. They are much too narrow for me and make my toes feel numb. I can't even try to break them in because of the great discomfort they cause. In previous years they fit great. They are too tight on me at the widest part of my foot beneath the base of my toes. They are pretty and the lining is comfortable, but I will need to look for a new slipper unless/until they redesign the fit. :(

These slippers are beautifully crafted and feel wonderful on your foot. However, walking in them is almost impossible because they slip up and down at the heel. I thought perhaps that was due to my having a narrow foot since these were size medium. However, my daughter, who wears a medium width, had the same problem. The toes are snug, but the heel constantly slips out. Too bad, because they are a nice slipper otherwise.

I just purchased my first home and there is no carpet on the main level - the floors can feel quite cold. My step sister was wearing these slippers at Christmas and it took little convincing for me to purchase a pair. I will NEVER wear a pair of slippers NOT made by LL Bean - you've got a customer for life! I wear a size 8, and these fit me beautifully. I like that the sole of the shoe is "weatherized" so I can step outside with the dog without having to change footwear. You can tell that they are very well made and will last a long time. Adore!
