This is a soft and comfy shirt. I do iron but we are OCD with wrinkles. I would not iron for casual wear but feel it needs ironing for my husbands office environment. With wrinkle resistant it takes just a couple minutes to iron and much easier than other shirts. LL Bean shirts size large or 16x15 fit my 5'1" 185lbs to 190lbs husband well.

I like the look and feel of these shirts and have bought a few of them in the past year or so, but i continually have issues with the sleeves tearing right around the elbow (actually right above the elbow for some reason). Today, my second one in 2 weeks tore during the day at work. I don't see many other reviews with this issue but it has happened to me more than once. I won't be purchasing these shirts anymore as they only last for a little more than a year.

I have purchased several of these shirts for each of my sons. They love them and love that they don't have to iron. I would like to see more selection in the 'slightly fitted' size. Young men are pretty trim these days and I have often picked out a wrinkle free shirt only to realize it is traditional fit. More selection in the slightly fitted would be great!

I have a large neck and big shoulders and am not slim by any standard but not fat either. This short has a small neck yet is extremely blousy at the waist and I bought an XL. The slightly fitted shirts fit be great but this is pretty much the opposite of that cut.

This is a nice shirt. However, it is in no way wrinkle resistant. Definitely will require ironing. Keeping shirt but disappointed.

I purchased 4 of these shirts over the last several months. Unfortunately after normal wash and wear, two of the shirts developed large holes under the sleeve just beyond the seam. Not the quality I expected from LL Bean.

Lovely turquoise which I ordered for my husband. Fits so well. Sleeves a teensy long but they lost about a quarter inch in washing/drying. Like all Bean shirts labeled "wrinkle resistant" you hit the nail on the head.

Poor fit. And poor quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Drawingbeader A successful gift for both sons!
I gave each of my 2 sons one of these shirts (different colors: butter and teal blue) and they loved them! They wore them as soon as I had laundered them. My sons are still enjoying them. The one that went to my younger son, in high school, is proving resilient to over stuffed book bags and who knows what else.

The shirt arrived very wrinkled - hung it on a hanger - no change. Decided to wash it and see if the wrinkles lessened and became acceptable to me. Still not up to my expectations. Unfortunately, I am returning both shirts and am very disappointed as I was looking forward to Bean's quality and claims to be wrinkle resistant. The fit was great - just too wrinkled for me.
