This vest has it all, fit, function, versatility, comfort, warmth, breathability, and thoughtful design. I am 5'2", 140#, 36D, athletic and the regular medium fits me to a tee. The cut of the vest is attractive, super comfortable and allows for freedom of movement when active. The back of the vest is longer than the front, and wonderfully covers my bum . I love to wear this vest. What else I love: so soft fleece, zippered outer pockets, 2 deep inner pockets (would be even better if zippered#, zipper has a chin protector and wind block flap, sherpa softness inside, smother plush fleece outside, reinforced shoulders #great for carrying a pack & for rain), washes beautifully, dries quickly, breathable yet warm and blocks more wind than "normal" fleece and again, super comfortable fit and design. I like to have a bit of room in my outwear for ease of movement and for layering, but no inconvenient excess, and this is perfect. The vest is great for layering or alone, and not only looks snazzy but is super versatile and functional. Great vest and I definitely recommend.

I have one vest in white and 2 jackets and I was planning on getting all the colors and when I went to order this time there was none available in my size, so I sent and e-mail and was very upset to hear that LL Bean will be discontinuing this item. You have 88% with great views. Is this not enough?. Please don't discontinue this item. It fits great, its warm enough, its water proof and I really like the part where it drops down in the back.
How many more reviews do you need to keep this item alive?

I cannot believe that it has more than 4 stars. I just received mine. The width of the vest is very wide, but it is O.K. The problem is the seams around the chest which creat strange curves at the strange locatiions. In order to fit the vest, you need to be very busty and your breasts must touch your arms. The curves of left and right breast are not same either. The fleece fabric doesn't need a lot of curves because it is flexible and tend to stretch. It is too bad that I really like the color Teal Shadow.

Read the other reviews...I'm glad I did. I am a tried & true size Med with LL Bean, but becayse of the reviews and so many people saying this vest ran large, I ordered a small. I'm glad I did. I'd like it to be about an inch longer, it comes to my hips, it's a great fit otherwise. I have broad shoulders and a 36C chest and this fits great - with one or two regular shirts under it. I'll be wearing this for hunting as an extra layer of warmth. Great quality.

Jerseybean Great Warmth Alone Or Layered
Used this for snowshoeing & running/jogging on colder days. Wonderful alone or layered under shell. Would have given it 5 stars but for the fact that it got extremely wet w/perspiration when running and didn't wick as well as I would have liked. May have been too war m that day to warrant wearing it. Not sure. But never got wet when worn shoeing & x-country on 20 or low 30-degree days.
Definitely go down a size! Ordered small & ex-small. Even over several thin-mid layers, the extra small fit fine. Small's armholes and overall size would have been too big. Love the color fushia, too!
Will get another for next season's snowshoeing & x-country!

Like this vest more than I expected! However, ordered a dark turquoise petite M, but it seems very large (boxy) in the torso over a long-john shirt. I'm 5'3" 135 lbs. Going to try a small.

I ordered the blue vest; the color is lighter that depicted on the internet. That I can live with but the sewing is substandard quality. The fabric is bunched in spots at the front zipper and pockets. I'll probably end up sending the vest back. I'm disappointed as I was so excited to find this in my size.

I now have Super 200 Fleece vests in 3 different colors!! I love them and wear them practically every day. Provides good warmth in the cold winter, very comfortable, and looks good. I loved them so much I gave them to my whole family for xmas. Also provides added warmth under my winter coat which is great in the New England weather. Highly recommended!
