Rated 5 out of 5 by Emma100 Great jacket - great price
I love this jacket. It is beautifully made and the colours are stunning - I have three so far and love every one to bits.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Skysailor Servicable Windbreaker... sizing way off
I just came back from one of the LLBean stores where I bought this is fuschia. It seems very serviceable, just what I need BUT.. first I tried on an XS, my usual size for Bean (127 lbs, 5'6"). I could barely get my arms into the sleeves the size was so far off. Then I tried a small.... too small, and a medium, too small. I finally purchased a large which is just right. I also tried on a few other colors... they were all sized the same except for the red, which in a small fit. SHEESH!

I would definitely recommended it--it is very nice. The gold color is really beautiful. It is slightly lighter than what it looks like on the picture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ArkansasLori An acceptable windbreaker
This windbreaker was thinner than I expected. I also believe the XL runs a little bit snugger than the usual LL Bean XL. I am able to zip it, but was a little surprised at it's smaller cut.
I think it will be great for a rainy, southern spring or summer, but definitely won't be good for a winter or fall windbreaker, even for the south.

Rated 5 out of 5 by StarrB Successful Christmas shopping!
Bought 7 windbreaker jackets for presents this year. So pleased to have a big thank you from everyone.
Daughters loved the bright colors. The men in my family liked the more sedate blue, though the sharp dresser received (and liked) the red. The fit was good on men and women. No returns necessary!
The fabric wasn't quite what I expected. The fabric of my Casco Bay pullover windbreaker is thicker. However, it doesn't matter as everyone is happy. And I loved the easy Christmas shopping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ArtCatNightOwl Great lighweight windbreaker!
Love this light jacket! I work with kids doing art projects and wear these jackets all the time as paint pretty much just wipes off. I've saved many cute LL Bean shirts wearing this jacket. Jacket keeps me dry during light rain running errands. Love the packable hood that works as a collar. I have one of these in every color. Nice that I can zip my cell phone in the pocket when I'm busy carrying art supplies around. Another great purchase from LL Bean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by cyclebum Great jacket, runs really large
I wanted a light-weight windbreaker/rain jacket for warm months. This fit the bill. I had the predecessor to this jacket before it flew out of the back of my jeep one day - so sad! So glad I found this one to replace it. Same quality as the other - great construction, great zipper, great color. The only difference is that it runs larger. I am 5'6, weigh 128 and ordered the small petite after reading other reviews about it running big. Even the small petite is a little larger than I like. Of course, I wear the jacket over sleeveless tops so I don't need it to be roomy. It still looks very sporty on me. I am very pleased. Thanks LLBean for putting it on sale!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Heavenly0204 Disappointed
This jacket has no vents. We are traveling to Florida and Puerto Rico and the humidity is insane there. I live in So Cal and when I tried on this jacket th sleeves stuck to my skin - yuk ! Returning ....

Rated 2 out of 5 by caramelkiss2008 Very nice shape, but lacks in Comfort
I really like the styling of this jacket, I own an LL Bean winter coat with the same fit and am in LOVE with it. However this jacket has many short-comings. It has great pockets both inside and outside the jacket, the outer pockets zip shut which is great if you don't always want to carry a purse for just your keys and cell phone. So the look and the compartments are great BUT...The material of the jacket is not pleasing to have in contact with my skin. I understand it is meant to be waterproof but it also does not breath, so outside I can be dry but inside I could be drenched in sweat. I am quite disappointed although the new jersey lined version of this jacket is improved. Still not quite perfect but getting warmer. Overall I'd say pass on this one and upgrade to the lined jacket. Only downside to the lined one was the disappearance of the interior pockets. A note on the sizing that I discovered through trial and error (and returns) I am 5'3" 140 lbs small on top I take an xs petite jacket or the body is too roomy and sleeves fall below my knuckles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ELDShopper Needs improvement
This jacket has some good features, i.e. packable, zipper pockets, fold-up hood, but also drawbacks: no lining (for the price, I'd expect a light weight mesh lining, at least on top half), and particularly the loose, long sleeves. The elastic should be tighter, and adding a velcro closure would be great. This problem has been noted for several years. LLBEAN - IS ANYONE LISTENING??
But with few alternatives for similar jackets - especially for petites - and the sale price, I'll keep this one. Not sure about how it will do in the rain -- but hoping for the best.
