I just received the jacket and I am impressed with the fit. I waffled between a small and medium for my size 8 top and size 10 bottom but decided to get the medium in black. As other reviewers say, it is a bit roomy, but I am comfortable with that. Also, it doesn't look dowdy--the gray inserts at the shoulders help to shape it and more importantly, it is actually slimming to my waist and hips. I haven't tested this in the weather, but I'm sure it will be great. Sleeves are a bit long, but I can turn back and cuff or push up sleeves. If I layer underneath, some of that will get go away, too. As the video says, it is "light" and I can see this as an easy to pack travel piece with my trekking pants or jeans that will also work with trousers in the evening. Very flattering. Thanks, LL Bean!

I love this fleece jacket. It's my favorite so far from L.L. Bean and I use it constantly for work and personal time. I'm thinking about purchasing another one and really wish L.L. Bean offered the Alpine Gold color like they do in Men's. I would love to use this jacket for my Search and Rescue work, and the Alpine Gold is perfect in being visible and offering warmth in the mountains. It's lightweight, which is a plus since we carry so much equipment and easily stuffs into our pack. I really hope L.L. Bean can help out the Search and Rescue community by making some jackets in high visibility colors such as high viz yellow, gold, or orange.

Since I have missed so many of the terrific sales I started checking daily on the website. One day I found this terrific jacket back in stock, and on a terrific sale again. I have the white jacket and decided to try the black. Again, it is a fine garment, perfect for cold evening/night, warm days, unpredictable weather but usually breezy, in and out of the car. Also good on a 1-2 mile dog walk. Light, easy to launder, sturdy, body and arm length good. Roomy but not dumpy. Thank you LLB.

I have had it for about a year and it washes perfectly and still looks like new. I use it all the time but it does not show at all.

My friend had the cresta fleece and I loved the look. When I went to the store I tried it on and the fitting is perfect, is roomy but not baggy. It falls at the hip, it is very warm and comfy. I was very surprised by how light it is considering how warm it is. My very favorite, it is my go-to Jacket! I have the pink one and I love the color. All the colors are quite nice in person but the pink one was by far my favorite. Highly recommended, you won't be dissapointed.

Love the jacket. Blocks the wind and cold better than other fleece jackets I own. I like that this jacket has no hood. I usually wear size medium in my LL Bean jackets, but this time I probably could have worn a small. The jacket is a bit longer than I'd thought it would be and a bit roomier. But I'm keeping the medium as it will give me more layering options. A perfect jacket for keeping toasty warm without all of the bulk. The fabric is very dense and soft. Plus, the jacket just looks great.

This jacket is a wonderful lightweight alternative for chilly mornings. I've never had one that blocks wind the way this does. It's roomy, maybe even runs large, but I'm very happy with the fit. I can comfortably switch between it and my soft shell Mountain Laurel jacket for typical North Florida winter mornings (seldom below 30). I love it!

I love love this jacket. Right out of the package it is a bit stiff and crinkly, but wash it once (washes beautifully & dries quickly) and it becomes whisper quiet, even more soft and almost form fits to the body. All around fantastic jacket! There is nothing I don't love about the jacket. I adore the longer length, with the back of the jacket hitting me just below my bum (love that the back is curved & longer than the front# and the front hits me at low hip. I am 5'2". 140#, 36D chest, and this jacket is beautiful on in a regular medium, and I do like a little room in my outwear for movement and layering. This jacket is so classy looking, ridiculously comfortable and designed and cut so very well. What else I love: soft Sherpa on the inside, plush smoother fleece on the outside, zippered outside pockets, deep drop pockets on the inside #would be even more ideal if these were zippered#, zippered chin protector & wind blocking flap, easy to use good zippers, bendable and not stiff reinforced shoulders and back of arms, breathable, warm, blocks wind, flattering, rich and beautiful colors #black is true deep black with dark grey contrast on shoulders, arms, pockets), and a very well thought out and designed jacket. Keep this jacket LLBean, it is truly awe inspiring and makes me do a happy wiggle dance of joy it is so wonderful! Great for everyday, out 'n about, inside, and when active.

Finally a fleece that fits great,nice and warm and true to size,love the color.Great fit in the arms,move around like a glove.Hope to get 2 more when they go on sale.Bought a small and can still wear a sweater underneath.Only wear my bean parka now on super frigid days otherwise this fleece is just perfect.Way to go L.L.Bean!
