These are great shoes. Very comfortable. A little hard to go upstairs in or walk on uneven ground because of the high heel. I wear them all day in comfort, but eventually have to take them off when I go outside or up and down stairs a lot. LL Bean, please bring these back with a lower heel. A flat heeled sandal version would be nice. Although I usually wear a wide width, these fit fine.

Sable color a lovely muted gold. High density plastic sole look like wood. Attractive shoe. Sizing was true for me. They feel a bit hard. The foot bed cushion is hard, and top edge leather is hard, but that should loosen. Nice look to wear around for a few hours strolling, but all day on your feet in these or serious walking would be a killer.

These clogs would have been great if they were a true fit, however, they ran very large. I ordered a 6.5 and would judge them to be a 7.5. Unfortunately, they are sold out so I wasn't able to get them in a smaller size.

I am normally a 6.5-7 size, so based on other reviews, I ordered a 6.5. The shoe that I got felt more like a 7.5, so I ended up ordering a 6, which is fine.

I just received my clogs and as soon as I opened them I loved them! However, as soon as I put them on I was very disappointed! They fit great lengthwise but the height/width of them was massive! I couldnt even keep them on my feet, even with socks on! and I dont want to wear them with socks! I have to mail them back and I wish there was something I could do to get them to fit, but reading other reviews I can see that others felt the same. they certainly arent going to get smaller with wear. They are very much like a pair I had when I was much younger so I'm really upset I have to return them.

I am so happy I found them here. Not many places you can get these.
When I got them it was winter time and I was not happy I could not wear them. When the spring came the clogs came out and I put them away justbefore winter. These are very comfortable to wear. They fit my foot perfectly. The upper leather did not streatch. If it would they would not fit the foot so snug. When wearing them you feel as if they were somehow tied to your foot but they are not. So comfortable! Now on sale I get another pair for later.

Comfortable right out of the box! That's the way a shoe should fit.
After reading the reviews, I was torn whether to buy my usual size 8 or size down to 7.5. I ordered the 7.5 and they just fit. I wonder if the 8 would have fit okay, too. Anyway, I am not disappointed with the size or quality and look forward to wearing them as house shoes for a long time. They are light-weight and sturdy, solid and soft.

I'm very surprised no one has mentioned that the leather is very stiff out of the box. It pokes into my foot across the top when I walk. Hoping they will get softer as I wear them. They do run big as I wear a 9 normally and am thinking on exchanging them for 8.5. Overall, they seem like a well made shoe.
