Rated 5 out of 5 by Cowtownman Perfect for Chicago
This blazer is just great for topping off a tee or polo to get one around town in style. The weight is not heavy, but substantial enough to remain crisp and has a very good hand. It is partially lined so summer will not find it hiding in the closet. I think the quality is top notch and it is very comfortable to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jesuitlad Seven years and going strong; ordering other color
I bought this item for wear when it's "cold" in Louisiana (50 to 60 degrees). I've worn it five or seven times a year for over seven years.
I wash it, and dry it with normal laundry, and hang it in the closet until it's next use.
I've worn it to the mall, sporting events, walks around the neighborhood, PTA meetings and Christmas Mass..
It is unfrayed, has its original buttons and still fits my portly body perfectly.
I have the khaki one, and am about to order the navy blue version.
It works well with jeans, dress slacks and Dockers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by doc4769 Wears well as a daily uniform
My place of employment requires members of our department to wear a Blue Blazer with appropriate pins and ID card. This is the second LLBean Chino Blazer I've purchased (1st one was over a year ago, and now purchased a 2nd as a backup) for my job, it wears well and looks great every day with minimal care. Perfect for work, great pockets and cut well enough for my size to wear with a light fleece vest in the cold weather.

Nice jacket. As a sport coat, I thought it would be a little less "heavier" but will be nice to wear in the fall or spring. Not sure about summer. It does tend to wrinkle, but overall a nice coat.

The chino blazer has chintzy lining and the inside vest pockets are shallow and cheesy, making this a poor choice for a travel blazer. This would be a 4+ star if it had a better lining material and if the inner pockets were zippered and deeper. As it is, it's a poor value.

After reading the various reviews, I had to buy the jacket to see what my experience would be. I wear a 42 long, 34.5 inch sleeve length, so I ordered the 42 tall. The shoulders were just right, but the sleeves were about an inch too long. The cut of the jacket was such that I could have attached a pillow to my back and then it probably would have fit my torso. I loved the look and fabric, but the cut of the jacket is so strange that I sent it back and will look elswhere for a casual blazer.

First time purchasing a blazer. Had a conference to attend and needed something business casual I could travel with. This fit me great. I have monkey arms, so having the longer sleeves fit me perfect.

The fabric almost feels like felt and is quite heavy. If you rub against anything, a mark appears on the fabric. Not a big fan of this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by YorkPATom A Perfect "Five Stars"
I am a senior executive with over 40 years in industry, and have bought many suits, sports coats and blazers during the course of my career. I have always shopped for quality, willing to pay far more than the modest cost of this blazer for the "right" choice. I am a tailor-measured 44 regular in jacket size, have a 33" waist, and stand 5'9" tall, just as a point of reference. Having read the reviews, I was mildly concerned that I would find the sleeves too long, or the fit wrong, for my build. I am both pleased and grateful to report that the 44-regular chino blazer is a perfect fit; it hangs beautifully on me, as though it were tailor-made, and the sleeves hit my wrists exactly where they should. The fabric is first-rate, and the workmanship is excellent. I suppose I should have expected as much, since L.L.Bean has proven, time after time, that their products provide great quality, as well as value. Of course, L.L.Bean stands fully behind their products, which is yet another "plus" in my book. I couldn't be happier with this blazer, and recommend it, and L.L.Bean, without hesitation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by stoob Please offer blazers in stores
I'm sending this jacket back because the cut is overly big and boxy with very long sleeves.
Maybe the next size down would have worked, but I'll never know because I'm not going to buy another Bean blazer without the chance to try it on first.
And that's my real point. Blazers aren't sold in Bean stores, and I'm not willing to buy another without trying it on.
