Bought this for my favorite baldy who hates hats. He finds it very comfortable, and wears it constantly giving his pate sun block protection. Removable neck flap was a plus.

Bought this hat to cover my ears (with hearing aids) when we travel fast in our bass boat, as the wind would magnify in my ears from the speed. This hat stops that noise since I snap the front flaps together for the ride. It covers the ears and back of my neck real well, is light weight, with good coverage to the face with the wider bill.
When I don't need the flaps I just fold them up inside the hat and use it that way, so the flaps are quickly available when I need them. Good idea, better than the hand sewn flaps I had attached to a baseball hat prior to seeing this hat with LL Bean. Get one!

Just purchased this hat. I love the light weightless full sun protection obtained as I wore the hat. There is no fit problem, the hat stayed in place well while fishing. The heat from the sun was not noticeable. I will purchase another soon. I think I looked pretty stylish as we were fishing.

The BFH is lightweight, comfortable and colored lightly to stay cool in the sun. It is a fine looking cap and the flexibility provided by velcro and snaps gives the hat many uses. A great product!

A wonderful, light weight hat that affords great sun coverage for the face, neck and ears. I like to wear baseball caps in the sun but ear and neck sun protection can be a problem. The removable flaps on this hat solve the problem. The extended bill gives greater than normal coverage to the face. Just the answer to the Caribbean sun and miles of distance walking/ hiking in the summer.

This cap was perfect for my husband who has melanoma. It came straight down and covered the side of his face and hooks under the chin if windy. It was light weight and not hot. Also, the drape is removable if needed. It was perfect for our needs as so many hats of this style angled back on the sides covering the neck, but not the side of the face. We love it!

Husband finds this hat comfortable and flexible. It provides good coverage while working outside yet it's lightweight and holds up to frequent washings. He likes the option of wearing the hat with or without the back flap. I like that it provides much better protection than his other baseball caps.

I purchased this hat for my husband who works out in the hot Florida Sun. It fits him well and it's very light weight - which was most important to him. It covers the head, neck and face well and with the snaps, it stays on secure in the wind. More color choices would be nice but over all, it's a great hat!
