This sweater is beautiful, fits perfectly (5'3", 101 lbs). size Small. It is soft, comfortable, My only problem is that it is darker than what appears on the webpage. I haven't tried washing it, so I don't know how it fares. I wore it in 40 degree weather and it kept me warm.

Love this sweater! The cotton knit is thick and warm, and the peacock blue color is perfect with jeans. It does run a little smaller (tighter and shorter) than most LLBean sweaters, so I returned my size XS for a size Small, which fits much better. It washed very well. This has become my favorite sweater of the season!

This is a great sweater to wear with an "outside vest". It's comfortable and warm (I wear a long-sleeve T under it) ..and it's not real bulky to wear inside.

I have two of these, and they are great! Heavier than they look in the picture, they are very sophisticated looking, and I love them! My only problem was that because they are so heavy, my washing machine won't spin them out. I have to wash them with a couple of bath towels for balance and then use an extra high spin cycle before air drying them. Otherwise they are great!

Before purchasing this sweater, I read the recent reviews which were very helpful. By nature I am always cold and have to wear several layers in the winter. Several ladies said that this sweater was heavy and warm---now that I have worn it ---I strongly agree and I love it!

This sweater shrinks - a lot! I had a medium that fit before washing and it shrunk to be too tight and short in the sleeves. I returned it and got a large which was big before washing then it also shrunk to be very tight after washing - and the sleeves again shortened considerably. Needless to say, it was also returned.
The cotton yarn for this style was probably not pre shrunk before weaving.

I ordered this sweater in black, wore it twice, washed on gentle, lay out to dry..the knit at the neckline began to unravel! I contacted CS and they sent a replacement and free shipping return label. I have returned the sweater and received the new one..after a few washing's, same proper care, if the same thing happens, may be a lemon of a design! If not, I may order more or cardigan in different colors!

I am usually a size 4 and have previously bought xs in tops at LLBean, but this sweater runs very small! I definitely needed a size bigger in this, maybe even 2 sizes bigger! Otherwise, it's a nice top, feels comfy, but fits tight to your body. Unfortunately, I had to sent it back.
