Rated 1 out of 5 by likecumfy not a good fit
I was so excited to buy these. First I had to wait for weeks before I got them because they were on back order ( which I didn't know while shopping for them. Only after paying I received an email informing me of this) and then when I got them I was so disappointed :(
They sit real high above the waist, I got a size bigger because I wanted the comfort and they're tight! many complained before me, the button is very hard to close I agree, and to top things off they are so heavy they weigh me down. Big disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ajwshing2bwarm80 Great fir in Tall, Small Sizes
Due to a medical issue, the small sizes are what I was after when a cousin suggested I come to LL Bean.
They are LONG enough, for one, and few are for a six-foot-one frame, and for not having to buy mens' jeans, and finding a slender fit, and when you're an 6-1.it isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Add in that when you need the fleece lined in even Northern California, it's a stretch to find something I can wear, and ones I wear comfortably.
The hypersensitity to pain that had me on a friend's recommendation buying a pair of my "special" shoes made the jeans an easy sell when I found the ladies' were in any of the different designs, the regular fit, the easy fit, all of them were cleece lined, as recommended y a friend, and also ones that fit in the slender, but tall frames.
But I also noted that LL Bean also stocks all variety of sizing from regular ladies, plus sizes and petites. So no one gets left out, and off-seaso, sale prices, free shipping, one cannot lose.
I actually own 3 pair. I have had RSDS for many years, and wear these and recommend them to friends who have either had to put up with discomfort of wearing regular clothing, or use alternatives that are far more costly.
Or in cases like mine, they wind up in the Junior's sizes, or worse. Even so, it's nice to have jeans that also with the fold over at the bottom, even for me, that dress up a little, so that when I am able, I can wear them wherever I like. Being thin like Squiggy isn't what it's cracked up to be, whatever the reason, and having to used to fight to lose a pound, I fight to gain. Regardless, LL bean appears to cater to them all.
And well, I think that I have the Easy Fit, the regular ones, and though still on the small sized, these are the first jeans I can comfortably wear.
Again, thank you to LL Bean. High quality also means they far outlast any other of the "less expensive" so one doesn't save money or that much by going anywhere else! And deals o clothing that also is of similar material and wear as these, have proven to be comfortable, and attractive wear for an accompaniment to those of us who are always cold-even in the CA sun, but no more-I am warming up. It sounds odd but well, we all have our story.
Best wear of any pair of jeans, so far!

Bought theses jeans last year. Wash great. Love them, I work outside with horses and they keep me warm. Our weather in Michigan this winter is horrible. I wear these jeans every day. I wear 12 med. Fit perfect. I wanted to order another pair but not avail in my size. Wish LL Bean kept more of thier winter clothes available after Dec 15th.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CleoMarie Really warm...Awful to button
I've had a heck of a time. 14 medium tall out of stock after a long backorder, then out of stock. 14 regular too tight at the waist. 14 tall with comfort waist way too long (everywhere) despite 5'11" height. And there is no way to button the button - I mean no way. Should have listened to the customer reviews. I've laundered them, so probably can't return. Disappointing. If I had the right size and could actually button them, they would be perfect.

You cannot button these jeans without nearly breaking a finger! The shaft of the riveted button is too short, and the button itself is as thin as a dime, so it was impossible for me or my husband to get the button through the hole without great struggle. It's even hard to do when not wearing the pants. The button is also affixed to the waistband off-center from the button hole, making the tight waist even tighter, and is practically on top of a seam in the waistband, making it extra hard to button. The legs of the jeans are voluminous! These jeans have been a low-quality piece of inventory for too long--one that is unusual for LL Bean--and I wish they would address it.

I was pretty hesitant to order these jeans because of some of the reviews about wide legs, "mommy jeans" etc, but being so tired of denim blue flannel jeans I thought I would give it a try. I ordered my usual size, but they were way too big and fit the bill for being "mommy jeans"! I sent them back and ordered a smaller size (very good for my ego). This pair fits perfectly! And so comfortable! The legs are the same cut as the denim jeans, so if you have and like them you'll be good to go with these. But you might want to order down a size, probably because of the comfort fit elastic waist. I wish that Bean offered flannel lined jeans in black and khaki in the regular flannel jean (not comfort waist).

I purchased the Jeans for my daughter and I. I noticed right away that they sit very high on the waist. My daughter hated this, so I'm sending hers back. I wasn't expecting them to be that high either, but if I wear a long shirt, it works just fine.
They were a bit difficult to button, but once I got it done, they were comfortable enough. I'm hoping that after washing a few times, they will relax a bit more. As for the legs, they are way to wide for me, so I'll have a tailor take them in a bit.
The length is perfect. I can fold them up or wear them with a heeled boot. Either way, the look is good. I just wish they made them to fit more of a slender figure, then there wouldn't be the extra cost for adjustments. I really like the feel of them. They are warm and perfect for cold evenings, so I will keep them.

Great quality jeans, love the plaid flannel. The problem is they are way too big in the seat, hips and thighs. I wish you made the classic fit with comfort waist for plus size women. A lot of us carry weight in our mid section not hips and thighs. Also should offer all plus size jeans in a petite length. Just because we wear a plus size doesn't mean we are tall. Wish the fit had been better, these would have been great for doing barn chores in the winter, unfortunately I had to return them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LovesComfee Rise too low and gapes in the back.
I bought the relaxed fit flannel jeans and found the waist too small. I could not get the next size up so I decided to try this style in in the next size up. The pair I received appears to be more like 2 sizes up. The rise is much too low and there is a gap in the back.
It is really hard to figure out how sizing at LL Bean works. It is a shame because I really wanted to get a nice warm pair of jeans.

This product is GREAT in the winter months. I generally wear these every day. The color selection is limited to ONE jean color and two flannel colors. Women should be able to get them in black, khaki, and lighter blue.
