It is men's gloves, but it is not the biggest problem. They will absolutely won't keep your hands warm, and I am not talking about really cold weather, in 45 degree if your hands are cold they will stay cold if you have those gloves on or off - the same difference.

Decades ago you made ragg wool drving gloves for women. I was sorry when I could no longer buy them . This year I saw the one size fits all ragg wool gloves and decicded to give them a try. BIG MISTAKE, they are way too big. esp. in the fingers.
Please bring back the ragg wool driving gloves made for women..

I have been looking for good "rag" wool gloves for a decade since the leather lined palm and finger gloves disappeared from the stores and thought these might serve to keep my hands warm while walking the dog and blowing snow. NO GOOD! They barely keep your fingers warm when temps are above 35 degrees and have no substance to them. I doubt they'll last more than a couple months and good riddance. They were not worth the ten percent off and free shipping let alone the price paid.

I know I will receive no sympathy for this, but I bought these for my husband to wear in SW Florida in the winter. Sometimes when we walk in the early morn, it is 47 degrees with a wind chill. He likes to carry weights and the gripper dots on the gloves are great for holding them and keep his hands warm. Up north, he used the type of ragg gloves that the tops came off, when he worked, to calibrate instruments, so he knew the quality of LL Bean gloves and went looking for them online at LL Bean. The price was very reasonable, the quality is topnotch, they are warm and nice looking. Highly recommended.

must admit we're partial to "ragg" so we were prepared to LOVE these gloves, maybe a "tad" large but they do shrink a bit after washing & a quick spin in the dryer (not too long a "tumble"), then lay out to dry - these are very useful (especially with the "grips") for raking, shoveling, walking the dogs, chopping wood, etc. - my husband gets cold fingers & he really appreciates these - we'll be buying more!! THANKS (once again) LLBEAN for helping us out@!!!

Given L.L. Bean's sterling reputation for quality merchandise, I was quite unprepared and indeed unpleasantly surprised by the inferior material quality of these uninsulated and poorly constructed gloves. They were returned promptly. I'd suggest that L.L. Bean merchandising executives carefully assess how such poor workmanship was deemed acceptable to offer its valued customers. If such ill-advised decisionmaking results in offering similarly poor quality goods in the future, your customers may be forced to turn to other on-line retailers to fulfill their merchandise needs. In my opinion, that would be a sad day indeed.

I bought these for my husband because they are wool (warm) and have gripper dots for holding on to things. The fabric is a bit thinner than I expected, but I think they will shrink somewhat when washed and dried. Overall, a good purchase.

These gloves fit perfectly, are warm, look nice, and are well made. The gripping surface is useful. I wore these last weekend while biking in 40-degree temps and found them better for that purpose than biking gloves. I would gladly pay twice as much for gloves this nice.

Rated 3 out of 5áby InwoodTransplant One size doesn't quite fit all.
The gloves, while substantial feeling and just-the-right-weight, are plain, ol' regular too big for my partner's hands. We may have to return 'em.
