I bought these shoes for my German shepherd who is having difficulty with walking. He has degenerative myelopathy and as a result, he drags his back 2 paws on the ground. It was filing his nails down to the quick and it caused them to bleed. I ordered this product on a Tuesday night from L.L. Bean and was happy to see them arrive on a Friday so I could begin using them! I think this product is worth it because it does stay on his feet fairly well, but because of his disease and how he drags his feet the only time they come off is when the rubber soles catch on one another. Another dog without DM wouldn't do this. He adjusted very quickly to walking in them and I think he is appreciative because he knows that I put them on him to keep his back toenails from hurting when he is playing. Now I feel like we can take him on a walk again and not worry about his nails bleeding. I measured the seat like L.L. Bean suggested and the sizing was pretty spot on. Because I only put them on his back feet, I technically have two sets of shoes for him and this works out well for us. This size shoe that fits his back paws, however, would definitely not fit his front paws as his front paws are much larger.

I got these to replace old LL Bean doggie boots and these are better than the old ones! The old ones just had thick canvas bottoms, but I love the rubber soles on these. I had to replace the old ones because after years of wear, the bottoms got holes in them. Considering how long the last set survived, I'm guessing I won't ever have to replace these, since my collie only really has to wear them in winter to protect him from salt & stop ice balls from forming between his toes.

These are very well made and would be perfect except that they run very large. I bought the smallest size Bean offered and they still were so large that my dog would walk out of them. I did measure his feet and after reading that some reviewers had said they ran large I bought down from what he measured. They were still much too large. I had to return them.

My elderly dog drags a rear paw just enough to wear down her toenail to the quick. I have tried two other brands of boots but dragging on the pavement was just too much for them. I ordered the Grip Tex boots from LL Bean and I received them in 2 or 3 days (I'm impressed). We have taken several walks and the vibram sole shows no wear at all yet so I have great hopes for it. Brook only wears a boot on one hind foot so 4 of them should last a long time. My only wish is that they would sell them in a package of two. I am very happy with them and LL Bean.

Love the shoes, finding dog products on the website could be a little easier also better descriptions would be appreciated. A how to measure sizing chart would have been extremely helpful, ALSO read helpful tips online before slipping these shoes onto your dog's feet. My dog would not look at me for days after trying these on. BUT I DO LIKE THE PRODUCT!

The boots fit very well and work for hiking or for protecting an injured paw while it heals. I originally ordered a size medium and had to return them for a small. My dog is an about 50 pound mutt so make sure you measure carefully.

We just love them. Tried other booties from pet shoppes, bad news. These fit great and my boxers can't remove them, in fact they didn't even try hard before they adapted to them. We just bought a boat and didn't want them distroying the cushions.

These boots are great, definitely worth the price. We tried some cheaper ones found online first but they still let in water and mud and quickly deteriorated within 3 months. These Grip Trex Dog Booties are really easy to put on and our spotted dog doesn't mind them at all. Our backyard is a muddy mess when the ground isn't frozen in the winter and spring and these keep her from dragging in mud and us having to wipe her paws off everytime she comes in.

We bought these boots for our springer who hs worn her pads down so they bleed after a few hours of hunting, we tried other styles but they didn't hold up,,these keep her from sliding, and they stay on, the quality is the best we've found so far,she runs normal not like a dog wearing floppy boots, they are comfortable on her, she lays down on the floor to put her boots on, when she sees my husband pick up the box, she knows she is going for a run, how perfect is that?

I purchased these for my GSD, who is having some hip problems and drags her hind feet, wearing off her middle two toes. The boots prevent that, along with providing better traction for her overall. My only suggestion would be to sell them in pairs, vs. 4 boots. Her front feet are easily 2 sizes larger than her hind, so if we wanted boots for all 4 feet, we'd have to buy 8 boots - and they're not cheap.
