I have purchased two pairs, one for a girlfriend and one for myself. We both like the clarity and brightness of the lens plus the convince of the reading (or fishing) insert.

These sunglasses are awesome! They really cut the glare and are very comfortable. It's so nice to be able to read without having to remove sunglasses and put on my "readers". They are perfect for the beach, driving...anywhere. I 'll be ordering a spare pair to leave in the car.

Love these glasses on a tour in France. Easy to read tour maps but the second trip I wore these, the lens fell out on the road and they are not supposed to be removed so I would not recommend these glasses.

What they do, they do very well. Unfortunately, they let way too much light in on the sides of the lenses. I purchased these to replace my 20 year old pair of Costa Del Mar Deep Blue. I now use half-eyes or readers at +2.50 and need them when tying flys, even my large saltwater streamers.
The Suncloud Zephyr Bifocal Sunglasses work great as bifocals but fall short at protecting your eyes from side glare. If the lenses wrapped a little further around the side they would be perfect.

I recently purchased these sport reader sunglasses and am pleased with the purchase. I wear progressive glasses and really need them for reading up close. I'm very active and often engaged in outdoors sports at all seasons, so I needed reader sunglasses that: fit firmly, had a sport profile, and helped me read maps and fitness units (gps, odometers, etc). These fit the bill. They are very light and I don't have long-term experience with them yet, so I can't speak to their sturdiness (If there is a problem, LL Bean's great policies will have me covered, no doubt). I've had them out on a hike, on open water and on a fast, sweaty bike ride and they performed very well. The polarized lenses helped with glare, the wrap profile helped with wind, and the bi-focal lens helped me read maps, guides and devices. I have a larger size head; these fit well without being tight.

Compared to the solid weight of my SPY sunglasses these are kind of light and flimsy. They are a bit loose and am concerned while biking they may fall off if I look down, so I'll have to use a cord. I am keeping them for reading outside though but not thrilled with this purchase.

Great idea for us older guys that do not want to carry readers all the time. The sunglasses work great and fit great but the bifocal feature is the best idea of all.

Loved the style of these sunglasses. The fact that they are bifocals is what attracted me to them. They are priced well too. Unfortunately I had to return them because they were too large and kept sliding off every time I looked down The sporty feel I was looking for is why I gave this a four star. I regret that I couldn't keep them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Walter46 Great for biking
I purchased these primarily for biking. I had had a previous LL Bean pair of sunglasses without the bifocal insert, and they were great. These are as well. Full peripheral vision, easy to read the odometer with the bifocal, and can use them to read a newspaper when stopping for coffee. The fit around the nose keeps all wind away from the eyes. Are slightly bigger fir than previous pair.

VERY happy with item. Fit great - stay in place comfortably even while running, and built in 'cheaters' so no more constantly switching to reading glasses when checking the guidebook or taking photos. Bought especially for travel - use daily in my regular life, too!
