Rated 3 out of 5 by familystuffnow Trying to replace my prior L.L. Bean sunglasses
I have a older pair of sun glasses from LL Bean with readers built in. I love them but I was having issues with the rubber cover on the ear piece. As always LL Bean was willing to exchange them with a new pair. Unfortunately they don't make the ones I have anymore. The sun cloud was the closest but they do not fit the same. Thus the bifocal sits higher in my view. The plastic also feels lighter and I felt may snap easily. I decided to keep what I had instead and try to super glue the rubber piece.

Glasses are lightweight and sufficiently dark. But the wings are quite tight to the head and hold the lens too close to the eyes. My natural eyelashes keep hitting the lenses. But if you need the bifocal feature these may be worth it.

These are nice glasses, but although it doesn't say so in the LL Bean copy, they are polarized. I was looking for non-polarized sunglasses and so bought these based on the description. However, I am going to keep them for fishing.

As a person who needs reading glasses having sunglasses with reading lenses is very useful. Whether trying to read cycling route maps, bike computer, phone or other device, these are a great help as well as providing polarization to keep flare to a minimum.

After wearing my $1500 "sunglasses" for a few months I began to feel like even my eyelids were sun burning. I wear trifocals and didn't want to spend a LOT of money again so, when I saw your bifocal TRUE wrap around sunglass, I gladly took a chance. Now I can be in the sun without ANY glare and also read my iPhone with the bifocal. AMAZING! As always, you do a good job. Thank you.

Basically, these sunglasses are nearly optically perfect and fit me very well. I have a big head but these have no problem staying on or aligning to my eyes correctly. The main problem is that they can't tolerate being placed in a hot location, like the dash of my Jeep. My Jeep interior is black, and I typically place them on the dash when not used. In the hot summers where I live, the dash can get very hot. The heat caused the thin plastic coating on the sunglasses to warp and wrinkle, especially on the temples and temple tips. The wrinkles ended up being very rough and caused soreness on my ears. The good news is that this plastic coating can be peeled off to get rid of the roughness. They don't look as good now but at least I can wear them without discomfort. Otherwise, these are excellent sunglasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maineiyak Perfect for Outdoor Adventures
These sunglasses are great for the outdoor enthusiast. Comfortable, lightweight just dark enough. The bi-focal part is low enough not to be in your field of vision. And now I can read my GPS without squinting or getting out my reading glasses.

I have purchased two pairs, one for a girlfriend and one for myself. We both like the clarity and brightness of the lens plus the convince of the reading (or fishing) insert.

These sunglasses are awesome! They really cut the glare and are very comfortable. It's so nice to be able to read without having to remove sunglasses and put on my "readers". They are perfect for the beach, driving...anywhere. I 'll be ordering a spare pair to leave in the car.

Love these glasses on a tour in France. Easy to read tour maps but the second trip I wore these, the lens fell out on the road and they are not supposed to be removed so I would not recommend these glasses.
