Just received my Sky Blue bike--it is misnamed. I've never seen any sky this color. It is an opalescent aqua, with a hint of green in the blue--the prettiest color for a bike I've seen in years.
This is my fourth bike in 10 years. I had two strand cruisers with no gears and foot brakes--loved those, but they were both stolen at the beach in Stone Harbor NJ. My husband talked me into buying a hybrid bike with 21 speeds so that I could keep up on the rail trails at home. That bike caused me to lean too far forward, and did not accommodate my 5'9 frame. It was never comfortable. This bike went together in approximately an hour. The fit feels great because I can sit more upright, and the medium size is enough for my long arms and legs. Can't wait to put more miles on it.

I bought this bike for myself- 50-something mom. I ride casually, but also took it on a 25 mile bike tour. The shocks are great, it's very stable and just so comfortable and easy. I'm very small, and in the past would have to either not be able to reach the ground when on the bike, or get a bike with smaller wheels (so had to peddler much more to keep up). This bike comes in 4 sizes but with the same wheel base so I was able to get it in an extra small and it works perfectly! So well, in fact, that my 20-something daughter just got it for her birthday present. We liked it so much my husband got the men's version (in the much larger size of course) and we are happily biking together!

I love this bike! I was a little nervous about trying to ride again since my knee surgery but this bike erased all those fears. First it is extremely light weight, that was a big factor in choosing it along with the XL frame. I'm only 5'3", older so I often had trouble getting a frame that was comfortable. The seat is very comfortable & my first ride proved that. I love the "Wisteria" color. I did have my local bike dealer put it together to be sure the gears & breaks were set correctly( I'm not a patient person). It has move gears than I need but not a problem. It gets 5 stars from me!!

My husband put this together when it arrived today, I took it on a 10 mile ride, it is great. I am so happy I bought this bike. I used to ride a road bike in my younger days and after 7 years this is my re-entry into the joy of cycling for fun and exercise.

Gave my wife this bike for her birthday. Suprised her with it fully assembled. Took about 40 minutes to assemble. Wear old clothes because there is some grease on the seat post and handlebar assembly. We've already been riding about 5 miles. My bride says its the nicest bike she's ever riden.

Like several other reviewers, I have not owned a bike for many years. This one is comfortable and easy to ride. I like the upright handlebars and the nicely padded seat. A couple of my friends now plan to purchase this bike. Maybe we'll form a bike club!!

I bought my orange Runaround at an LL Bean store in MA. When I got it home I found a few scratches in the paint on the handle bar nut...must've happened during assembly -I should've looked closer in the store. Its something I think I can touch up with black paint though.
I took this bike for its first long ride this morning -about 12-15 miles on a paved rail trail.
The seat & handle bars are fully adjustable -they move up/down & tilt forward/backward. The bike techs at LL Bean set mine up to fit me and then I made some minor adjustments after I had a chance to ride it. The gears shifted smoothly and I had no trouble maintaining speed. The seat is comfortable although I've had more comfortable after market gel seats in the past. This bike has the screws in place for a water bottle holder but it does not come with one. I noticed that none of the bikes in the store did -I took the bottle holder off of my old bike and re-used it.
One of the front brake pads on my bike was/is constantly rubbing on the tire rim. I have no idea how to adjust/fix that so I will definitely mention it to the LL Bean bike tech when I bring it back for its FREE 30 day tune-up.
I had originally planned on getting the "Quick Bag Set" with the bike for the back of the bike but, the LL Bean sales person pointed out that the tires on the Runaround bike are so big a rack wouldn't fit. That was disappointing... I really wanted the extra storage. I settled on a large handle bar bag instead.
All in all this is a decent bike. However, I can't help feeling that at $399 it's easily overpriced by about $100.
Also, the Runaround is actually a Schwinn with the LL Bean name on it -it says Schwinn on the seat & frame and the owners manual.

I put this together myself, which was empowering, but found the chain had slipped. Not trusting my memory (last time I fixed a bike was 30+ years ago), I called LLBean support. The rep walked walked me through the process. I was so pleased that I could adjust the chain that I called back to thank customer service. The next rep gave me good general tips too in response to a small list of questions I had. This bike-buying experience was great: a bike in a box delivered to my house, clearly written instructions, help over the phone, and roads and trails waiting. It rides like a dream, especially for somebody whose knee aren't what they used to be. I feel safe and adventurous.

Just received bike, bought it for my wife to ride. Bike was relatively easy to assemble. Quality seems good, time will tell. She has only ridden it a couple times and so far she is pleased. She said it is comfortable to ride and easy to use. I think I would prefer trigger shifters versus handle grip shifters but she seems ok with them.

I ordered the Women's Runaround Cruiser Bike online on a Saturday and received it the following Thursday. I took my first ride on Saturday and rode just under 10 miles with no aches and pains. ( I can't remember the last time I rode, but it's been years.) I had such a good time that we went riding on Sunday as well. This time riding about 12 miles and still no aches or pains. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking to ride again.
