Great shirt, so cozy soft on inside because of fine quality fleece. Not too heavy, but warm and practical enough to wear as outside jacket. Great for dry cold days, like in L.A. We bought it for our son to wear to school over t-shirt in the Fall/Winter/Spring.
Very happy with product quality and design. Would love to find one for my hubby!

Thank you LLBean for making a great insulated shirt for kids! Bought one for each of my children for Christmas and it's been one of their favorite gifts. My son loves the feel of the fleece that he won't even wear a t-shirt underneath it. My son is in a 10 and the fit is a little large for him but it is a 10-12. He is fine with it. He'll be able to get two years out of it!
I'd love to see more color options for the boys.

My son loves this fleece-lined flannel. He wears it outside to shovel snow, at the computer and to school. I just wish LL Bean had more than 2 color choices I would buy more for him.

These are fantastic shirts. The quality is superb and they are very durable. They fit true to size. Very warm and the boys love them. 2 years ago I got the S/4 for my near 4 year old and a L6/7 for the 6 year old. They still fit but just barely. Just got the now 8 year old the S/8 and it fits well with enough growing room to spare he should get two winters out of it. These shirts will be handed down and I expect they'll last given the durability to pass on to my third youngest son.

This shirt material was great - very soft and warm, not heavy, BUT I couldn't believe how mis-matched the side seams are! Not something you expect to see on a high quality item. The plaid is way off on the side seams and is very obvious. Very disappointing. Might try and exchange it - wonder if they are all like this - but too busy right now.

My son loves to be outside all year long. Weather has never been an issue for him, but it has for me. This shirt is great for those not to cool, but needs something to cut the chill. The durability is outstanding. Will be buying others as my son grows. This is one of his favorite shirts.

This is a good quality, comfortable, warm shirt that looks great with a pair of jeans. My son wears a size 10 and we purchased the 10/12. Even though the sleeves are longer than he needs, the second button keeps it tight enough that they don't drop below his wrist.

We live in the misty Northwest, and this is perfect for my teenage son. The lining fleece is thin, soft and warm and the look is manly but not bulky. Perfect!

My 12 year old son loves this shirt so much that we ordered a second one in another color. He now wears one in place of his previously ever-present zip sweatshirt. He is never without one of his fleeced lined flannel shirts, which he refers to as his jacket. Note that we live in the relatively mild climate of the Pacific Northwest.
