Our most advanced snowshoes excel on any surface – from your local trails to the steep slopes and deep snow of the backcountry. The binding has been upgraded for 2011 to Tubbs' gender-specific ReAct binding, featuring a dual-strap system that can be cinched with just one pull. They also feature the gender-specific FitStep frame for a more natural stride that reduces stress on your joints. Rigid Control Wings maximize boot contact for control and stability on steep slopes. A rotating toe cord allows the tail of each snowshoe to drop and shed snow, minimizing snow fling and weight. Carbon-steel Cobra front crampons feature jagged tooth construction for excellent traction. Carbon-steel rear crampons provide added stability, traction and downhill braking. Active Lift™ heel lift reduces calf fatigue and achilles tendon strain on steep ascents. Frame is made from exceptionally lightweight and durable 6,000-series aluminum.
