My husband loves these pajamas. They are heavy and sturdy, and the talls fit his six foot frame perfectly. Unfortunately the talls are no longer available. We hope they will come back.
I would recommend them for someone who is always cold even in the summer.

I bought a pair of these pajamas for summer wear, but they're too heavy for that. I think they'll be OK for winter. The fabric is substantial, and a little stiff. It's not as soft as an oxford cloth shirt.

Based on the price cut, it would appear that these are being phased out. Have had these for about two months.
These tend to shrink, even when following the washing instructions. They have not softened up after several washings, and there is no give to the fabric. Very tight and stiff.
There seems to be something wrong with the sizing, although it is difficult to describe. I returned a size large because the sleeves extended about five inches beyond my finger tips and the top seemed huge in relation to the bottom. The replacement size medium had the top fitting too tight, and the sleeves have shrunk with washing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ExerciseLady2 Nice PJs, but color is misleading
These are nice, well-made pajamas, but they are not "glacier blue" in color as advertised. They are striped alternately blue and a sort--of-maroon, and the maroon is just as prominent as the blue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by mitchbooker Unfortunate pair: uncomfortable and long-lasting
These pajamas are cut unusually small. The neck opening is deep and has no fastener at the neck. The fabric is sturdy but uncomfortably stiff, and seems to tighten rather than soften with use and several washings. The roughness of the material does not lessen, and has no give at all.
And, sad to say, this sleepwear may last forever.

Needed XL for the posted waist size but top was considerably over sized in relation to bottom.

Rated 2 out of 5 by llbeanregular55 looks better than it functions
Stiff fabric, even after washing. Several design flaws (cost cutting?) including no loops for hanging on a hook in either the tops or pants bottom, very short fly, and no closure/button for the fly. Pants are like underwear with no button or anyway to open or close the top of the pants - strictly pull on/off with full circle elastic waistband.
Also, even in XL, tops and bottoms are quite short - no tall size available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by yvyNYC Best men?s pajamas out there!
My husband would live in pajamas if he could, so pajamas are very important to him. We used to buy his pajamas from a very well-known retailer for many years, which were much more expensive than LL Bean?s. Being that I am an avid LL Bean customer I decided to give these pajamas a try.
Well my husband absolutely loves them and he is now on his third pair!!! The quality of these pajamas are fantastic and the more you wash them the softer they get. The fabric is not flimsy as some other makers of pajamas can be, and the draw string waist is a nice touch too!!
LL Bean, please never discontinue these pajamas!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by travellllller A bit stiff- shrank A LOT
Finally a pair of Pj's to fit an XXL Tall man! When they arrived he put them on and they were HUGE- they hung on him and the pants looked like 2 people could get into them. We almost packed them up and sent them back- but since they had been monogrammed we went ahead and washed them thinking that they might shrink since they were cotton. Thank goodness we did- because they shrank A LOT. They shrank soo much that the pants were almost too small in the waist and inseam. After washing they fit more snugly and more true to size - and looked great. The material is still a bit stiff after several washings- which I was disappointed about- but he doesn't seem to care. The material is a very good quality- and the stitching looks very nice. It is definitely a French Blue color because it almost looks like a shade of purple. My husband likes them. They look very expensive- and look great with a monogram on them. Even if I pull them straight from the dryer they come out wrinkled- which is a bit annoying- but I keep hoping that if the fabric softens up like others have stated that the wrinkling will stop too.
