Classic piece of furniture, looks as good or better than advertised; reasonably priced; assembly was not too difficult, but does take a couple hours. Slight misalignment on the doors. Delivery took several weeks, but this was consistent with LL Bean's quote; it was well packed and arrived undamaged. We are well pleased with our purchase.

The piece looks just as I hoped it would, even better than its catalogue illustration. But I found it a heck of a lot harder to put together than some others did. And it never did come together precisely as promised and expected.
First, minor problems that Bean could easily fix: The horizontal wood pieces aren't identified as top, middle or bottom, and they should be-- especially as some of them have holes pre-drilled on both top and bottom, when their bottom holes aren't meant to be used.
Major problem: I'm strong, but no matter how hard I worked, nor what screwdrivers I used, I couldn't get the screws provided with the piece to fit all the way into some of the pre-drilled holes so that all the pieces came together in a completely tight fit. I even used an electric drill to deepen some of the holes, though I was fearful of splitting the wood (I didn't). Still, I couldn't get a tight fit in some cases. I wound up using Gorilla glue on some of the joins (binding the piece together with rope while the glue took hold and dried) to make the fit solid and to eliminate visible gaps. Yes: visible gaps.
I've used the piece for several weeks now, and my additional work does seem to have ensured that it's solid and sturdy, but though it looks terrific, putting it together was nowhere near as easy as it should have been.

The mission tv stand is just what I was looking for. The size is just right, it is made out of beautiful wood, and very easy to assemble.

I read previous reviews of this stand, which were all positive. They were a factor in ordering the stand. However, the directions for putting the stand together were vague and hard to follow. Both my son and husband spent several hours time on assembling it, and we had to call LL Bean twice. The doors initially did not fit into the space between the upper shelf and the bottom skirt, leaving an almost 2" gap. They were very helpful and immediately sent us a new set of doors. The doors were not the problem, though. There were 3 sets of pre-drilled holes on the bottom part of the stand and the directions did not specify which were to be used. My husband had to re-assemble the stand to determine the problem. The stand is together now, but the doors are still not an exact fit, and hinges would have held them better than pins. I would not recommend purchasing this piece of furniture.

We were very disappointed with our LL Bean Mission Entertainment Stands. The quality is poor and not as pictured in the catalog.One of the doors and top was warped. My husband tried to fix it but couldn't and now every time we look at the piece it looks crooked. The good news about them is that they are light and easy to move when we have to go in the back to adjust our electronic equipment. I wouldn't purchase again and not recommend it to a friend.

High quality materials. Unfortunately, something in the package rubbed against the wood and caused some unsightly scratches. These were on the second shelf, so would not be visible. It was a christmas gift, so decided to put it together anyway and keep it.
overall, quite pleased.

We ordered this item, together with three other tables. We love them all - they look beautiful in our living room. Good size and wood has nice finish. Assembly wasn't too difficult for two non-do it yourself folks, but we definitely needed the two of us to assemble this item. The same holds true with the other three table.

Read all the reviews before puchasing, they were totally correct. This is a great cabinent, quality is good, easy to assemble. Matches my decor and has more space than a traditional stand. it is exactly what I expected from LLBean. Arrived within 5 days of ordering.
