Rated 4 out of 5 by Spoonswithdogs Women's Sporthill Symmetry ii Jacket
I have been looking for a lightweight jacket with a hood. This jacket fits the bill, but a couple of things are not perfect. Firstly, there are no interior pockets, very unusual for a L.L. Bean item! Secondly, the arm length is very long, but otherwise this jackets is true to size and is very nice.

To me the jacket was tight in the arm holes/shoulder area. Also was not impressed with the fabric. Returned.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Teacher8454 Not relaxed fit as described
This jacket was described as having a relaxed fit to allow for layering. It is not. I always wear a medium in jackets. This jacket was very fitted. If I ordered a large, the sleeves which were very long would not work. Every thing else about the jacket was good. Sure wish it was roomier. I am not over weight.

I am a medium, but since there were no mediums left and someone said this brand runs small, I ordered a large. It is too big to be ideal, but still works for me as a winter running jacket in Virginia. It doesn't seem like it should be warm, but when I wore it on a 50 degree cloudy and windy day, I ended up tying it around my waist after a mile.

Had to return the jacket because with a sweater underneath it would have been tight. May reorder in a larger size or a different jacket for cross country skiing. Have an L.L. Bean cross country ski jacket from many years ago with 3 colors on the outside, a bit longer than the normal jacket covering the booty. Loved this jacket but you do not have any even close to my current jacket. It is wearing out. My old jacket has several pockets other than the normal side pockets and a hood. Zips up around the neck like a mock turtleneck.

This jacket is everything that's written in its description. I recently started snowshoeing. I've been out when the temps were 10 degrees which didn't factor in the wind chill. I ordered a large and wore 3 layers under it. I could move easily and stayed warm. I'm all about color and ordered Zinnia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BigBadShopper Love the jacket, but it doesn't work for me!
This jacket is very stylish, a nice bright color, and the fabric is nylon like a soft wind breaker. The sleeves are plenty long, but the arm holes are cut too tight. If I just wore a blouse and nothing layered over that, I could probably live with the arm holes rubbing under my arms. But, then again...considering the price of $99.00, I'm returning the jacket. I can find something cheaper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NoCAwalkergal Beautiful jacket for Athletes
Beautiful jacket, zipper pockets, hood; color is a dark raspberry. Had to return an XL because arms were about 2" too long and jacket came about 3" past the bottom of my rear #I am 5'6"#. #I purposely ordered an XL because SportHill clothes run small; I can normally wear a 14 top and 12 pants.#. Mesh lining is substantial. I agree with the reviewer who said that this is not a casual, everyday jacket but more for a runner/skier/long distance athlete. Depending on what length you wear your jackets, this could be worn by someone easily 5'10", or taller; definitely small in hip area, again, depending on where the jacket hits your body. Best to call/chat for all garment measurements!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HillRunner Great for winter sports.
Although the temperature here seldom drops below 20 degrees during the day, it is often windy. This jacket, worn with a couple of additional light layers and a hat, has been perfect for running in these conditions. I am small-busted but broad-shouldered and usually wear an LLBean small or extra small; the small in this model has worked well. I'm definitely enjoying the jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TrueOregonian Nice but surprisingly warm
Nice jacket, good color and fabric for travel, well cut for active wear. Unfortunately for me, it was much warmer than the kind of light jacket I was looking for to wear to run in our Oregon winters. It would be a good, lightweight choice for colder climates.
