Loved the pic onsite but when I got it I hated the color. I returned and purchased another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by domom easy to clean
Nice lunch box, easy to clean. Still look brand new more than a month into the school year. Only complaint? I'd love separate compartments for cold and warm items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bargainchicky MULTI PURPOSE!
I purchased 2 of these with the older print style and they are so versatile.
The zippered pocket on the outside and velco pocket on the inside provides extra room.
We even use one of these for my child's electronic hand held game. It is the perfect size for a young child and easy to use.
This lunch pack has held up for a year so far and still looks brand new!
The zippered pocket on the outside holds the cartridges. The velco pocket on the inside holds add'l accessories. The insulation/padding provides plenty of protection for the small computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NovaScotiaLLBeanFan Great lunch box, we're on our third set
We are on our third set of lunch boxes from LL Bean and will keep buying them as our kids go through school. They haven't worn out, so much as the kids just like to pick new ones to go with their back packs every few years for a change.
I really like the one we just got this year because it seems to me that it is easier to keep clean. When I compare it to our older model, this new version has less seams in the bottom of the lunch box, which is good because they used to collect crumbs and such. I'd love no seams at all if at all possible, but this version with less seams for food to catch is an improvement over the previous model.
Great size - at first I was a bit concerned would be a bit too big for our little one, but no problem at all. Love that you can put your freezer pack on one side, and that there is plenty of room for a large lunch and snacks. It holds all the types of containers we've sent the kids to school with.
They wash super easily - when we've had food messes happen, simple to wash and super quick to dry - they dry very fast.
My only complaint was that we could not order a matching lunchbox this year to go with the back packs. They were short on them or something and so we had to go with our third choice. So our backpack and lunch box didn't match - not a big deal, but for a little one starting school, it would have been nice had she been able to get a set. And we ordered early too and visited the store. Too bad they had sold out so soon.
Otherwise, wonderful lunchbox and other than making it seamless entirely, I don't think it can really be improved upon. Highly recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by DeanPartyOf5 Nice lunchbox, but WAY TOO SMALL!
My son had what we thought was the same lunchbox as this for 2 years. The seam inside came apart, so we ordered this for him. It has the same name, but is SO much smaller. I can only fit (very thin) ice packs in the bottom with a sandwich container and a juice box on top...nothing more. This box would be better suited for a toddler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Reviewer721 If hungry, ordered hinged model
This holds modest amount if using plastic containers. Wipe clean lining is great. Zipped web pouch for utensils and love notes from my hubbie. Stands upright in crowded work fridge.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MaliasMom Too small
The lunch box is too small and has only one zipper (is this a cost-cutting measure?) around the large compartment. The one zipper makes it impossible to jam a lot more items in and zip it completely closed. By too small, I mean you can't fit a small thermos, sandwich container, yogurt, and ice pack in it without it bulging. I have two other older models which hold significantly more and have two zippers. My kgartener was so excited about a new lunch box, but even he agrees that this one has to go back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by fwill Best Lunch Box EVER
I bought several of these lunch boxes for my kids when they were all in elementary school. My son is in 8th grade and still carrying the same lunch box that he had in 4th grade. It is still in the same condition it was when I bought it, only with a little more playground dirt. :) It washes well, holds up well, and is absolutely the best lunch box I have ever purchased. Over the years I think I have bought a total of 4 or 5 of these (to match backpacks) and each one has held up beautifully. The quality of this product has far surpassed any other lunch box I have ever purchased. My kids have not been able to wear one out yet!

Rated 3 out of 5 by 2boysVA Nice lunchbox...needs improvements
This lunchbox needs to be a bit bigger. There's not a lot of room if you are packing multiple lunch items and ice pack for young ones. There NEEDS to be an expandable pocket on the side for a water bottle.
My big complaint is that the strap handle should be longer. It's a little difficult for little hands to hold the handle. It would be better if the strap was longer to grip easier. My boys have a hard time grasping the handle quickly.
I liked the discovery lunchbox since it was bigger, but disliked the patterns....there weren't many choices (the only blue one had a skier on it). I do like the patterns this lunchbox offers, but it's small.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MamaMarie Zipper broke by May
I thought it was going to last for years or at least a couple of years per all the reviews but we got it in late August and the zipper stopped working by May. I had it monogrammed too. Now I wanted to order another one exactly the same because my son loved it but now I don't see that print online anymore. I am very disappointed.
