A little tight in the toe and a little stiff at first but that's been working it's way out as the shoes break in. I bought these in a wide because I've become used to Keen style roominess in shoes. These are nice shoes, well made and perfect for slipping on when the puppy needs to get outdoors quickly. Puppy also likes chewing shoe laces so these are getting a lot of use for the time being.

I picked these because I wanted something rugged and roomy to slip on after wearing snug logger boots all day, and be able to go back out and tend the horses comfortably. Bingo. A note on sizing: I ordered 9-1/2 Wide so my toes could move around, and these are wide. Crazy-looking wide. I was surprised, though, that my toes were squeezed from the top, with pressure on my toenails. Fortunately, the insoles are much thicker than average, so I swapped them out for thinner ones, with great success. Now, they are perfect (and I can use the thick insoles in some other boots).

I like the styling, it's a bit different than the typical fare, but the flat toe just never felt comfortable, even though the size (10.5 D) was the same as any other Bean shoe/sneaker I've purchased. I'm quite pleased with the other similar styles offered, however, such as the Snow Sneaker.

These are excellent quality shoes in all ways but one. They are very squeaky. And not only the wet shoes on a linoleum floor kind of squeaky, but squeaky all the time. On carpet, sidewalk, hardwood, etc. Love the look, could do without everyone hearing me come down the hall all the time. I wear them into work and have found myself kicking them off over the last couple days so as not to annoy my co-workers.
I probably wouldn't buy them again, though they are a good price and a great look.

I had tried the clog type shoes and found them not comfortable for my 14 EE foot. (nothing wrong with the shoe, just not comfortable for my foot). I tried the Rugged Comfort Casual Shoe Slip-On and they are excellent with or without socks. They look and feel good, good griping sole and not heavy.
A great price too as finding size 14 shoes is not easy.Thank you LL BEAN for your quality and sizing for big men.

When I first put these on the right shoe was a lot tighter than the left shoe. Left shoe fit me perfectly but after a few days of breaking in they both felt very comfortable and snug. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because the left shoe is about two shades lighter than the right shoe. A small card comes with the shoes saying because of the natural leather there might be some discoloration, but these shoes looked completely different. Picture a cup of black coffee and a cup of coffee with half and half and you will get where I am coming from.

I often spend several consecutive hours in the operating room and require superior cushioning and support. These mocs are perfect for the job. I would reccomend them to anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet and needs something to perform and look good.

The full grain uppers are well treated and the soles provide a hefty grip in spring thaw conditions. My feet are warm and dry - quite the opposite of my happy Lab's nose.

Bought these shoes for my husband who always wears Keen's. I thought they look a lot like his Keen's in the catalog but without the $100.00+ price tag. He was reluctant when I ordered them but when we received them and he slipped them on, he fell in love. We usually order a wide width, but the mediums have plenty of room. They also have a cushioned insole that makes them very comfortable. He wore them on our recent trip to Vegas and walked in them 9 miles in one day. No complaints.....highly recommend these shoes!
