I love these boots
I want to be buried in these boots.
I would have given them a 5 but after 1 year the BOA closure system had a breakdown. I returned them and of course the company stood up and replaced them. I'm not sure if within the BOA area that the SS wire had it's coating stripped or the coating was damaged but the coating stripped off the wire and I was stuck if the boot for a while until I could get enough slack to get the boot off.
Other than that the failure, and I hope it doesn't happen again, I absolutely love these boots. I wear them outside for hiking and general work in the yard plowing and what not. Very warm, very comfortable, good traction.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Snowman79 Awesome boots
These boots are pretty amazing. Super warm and beefy underfoot. Held up nice in sub 0 wind chills and cold rain and snow. I did have an issue with one of the clips not tightening, but bean's return policy is unsurpased and I had a new pair in a day and a half on my front steps. That's the only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars, but I'll be purchasing them again when I wear these out.

Rated 5 out of 5áby WaltB Very nice big game boots, warm.
I bought these for the deer blind. They are comfortable and very warm, even when your feet are in the snow. I have not walked very far in them, but they do not rub excessivly. They are quite stiff and heavy duty. Some have said they fit too large but, my feet are pretty wide, EEE sometimes, so I ordered a size up. The Boa lace system is really quick and easy to adjust. I really like them.

Rated 4 out of 5áby JT74 Solid Boot
I have hunted in these boots for 2 weeks (4 days in the field) in temps ranging from 17f to 65f. They are well made, warm, dry and very stable. The tread provides excellent traction and doesn't retain mud. The BOA closure is very convenient but you won't get the same custom feeling/fit as you do with lace-up boots. You won't find any instructions with the boots on how to use the BOA. You need to push down and turn them clockwise to tighten them. Pop them up (pull) to loosen them. Wear a mid-weight wool sock. They did require a day of break-in. I experienced some rubbing on my outer ankle at first but smoothed the tongue out and retightened them and that went away. The BOA does slip some when you are walking in rough terrain and will require you to adjust it from time to time but less often than you need to adjust laces. The paint on the BOA chips easily but so far hasn't affected the function. I gave it 4 Stars instead of 5 because of the above minor issues. 5 Stars should be perfect. That said, this is a good boot for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Fritz256 Not A Substitute for a Pac Boot
I bought these thinking that they would be a less bulky alternative to a pac boot for sedentary winter hunting and ice fishing.
Upside: very easy on-and-off. Comfortable to walk in.
Downside: not really a pac-boot and won't keep your feet warm in sub-freezing temps. I sat in a deer stand all of opening day of deer season in Wisconsin with these boots over a thick pair of Smartwool socks but despite seasonable temps in the low 30s, my feet got cold. On the other hand, had I been moving, these boots would've kept me warm just fine.

Bought these boots to go on a moose hunt in northern Maine. They were warm and kept my feet dry. Very comfortable, right out of the box. I would highly recommend them to a friend or anyone else for that matter. Oh, bagged a 652# Bull..

These boots will answer the bell night and day, and meet any cold weather with ease. The toe area is ample, so consider thick socks. The BOA system is genius, and quickly becomes your default for lacing options. May run a half size large, but I like a roomier boot for the harshest weather.

Rated 5 out of 5áby LucyGoosey I think these are his FOREVER boots!
After years of complaining about other brand boots for comfort, water resistance, etc, we have finally hit upon the perfect solution! He finds them extremely comfortable, warm, and dry and likes the fact that he'll never have broken laces to deal with - and the wind up method of lacing makes for exact fit! I thought I'd hate the camouflage look but it's quite cool, really. And he makes excuses to get them on and 'go out and play' ... even to do the snow-related tasks he loathed before! These boots are well worth the price as I truly believe they will be forever boots! I'd like to find the ladies' equivalent now .. in another color, of course!

Rated 5 out of 5áby menaceman Easy on/off!!
These boots are probably the warmest boots I've put on my feet. The thing that made me purchase them was how easy it is to get them on and off. I'm skeptical that the wires will hold up but so far so good. The only issue is that you have to wear heavy socks to wear these boots or your feet will slide around inside them. Otherwise, these are by far the best boots I have ever owned. I live in Maine so they are much appreciated!

Rated 4 out of 5áby AdirondackHunter1 Great Pair of Hunting Boots
I have used these boots through two deer hunting seasons in the NYS Adirondacks and found them to be great. Great in all conditions. This season I had difficulty with one of the boots leaking a little water. I returned them to LL Bean and they immediately sent me a new pair. I could have tried another boot, but I have had such good success with them in the woods I did not want to change. The fit was just right, the lacing system is great for easy on and off, and they keep my feet warm in the cold.
