Rated 3 out of 5 by RWP344 What is Good, Used to be Better
This is a good moc, but it used to be better when it was made with a "Vibram" sole. Both had the exact same sole design, but the LL Bean soles wore out relatively quickly. The Vibram sole version is still going and showing only some signs of wear. (I have had the Vibram version for four years and the LL Bean version two years.)
Message to LL Bean is to (1) Go back to the Vibram sole with the same sole design, (2) Keep the chocolate color but re-introduce the tan or saddle color, whatever it was called.
Vibram, Vibram, Vibram!!! Cost a bit more?...well worth every penny. Vibram sole version gets 5 stars, the LL Bean version 3 stars. Fit in both the same: excellent.

These are my husband's favorite shoes, however they are not always in stock yet worth the wait. His one request is to have a pair in a lighter color. Please try to get color varieties.

These are THE most comfortable mocs ever. They felt great from the first second I put them on! Excellent quality, reasonable price considering what you receive for the $$. Try em...you will not be disappointed!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Greymom Husband could not even get these on.
He was so looking forward to these shoes but could not get them on. He usually wears a 10 1/2 in lLBean shoes and has been purchasing them for 40 years. These were a big disappointment. They are going back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JV11 Had to get half size longer and wider
For the past 30 years, I've bought Camp Mocs, size 11, normal width which fit great but decided to be daring and get this similar looking shoe. So I ordered the 11, normal width hoping they would fit like the Camp Mocs and ouch! Way to short and tight in width. I wore them around the house a few days waiting for them to stretch but they didn't seem to stretch at all. I returned them and got the 11.5 wide and they fit great.
Note: I actually had to order 2 pairs of the 11.5 wide as the first pair I received included a right shoe that must have been mislabeled as it was so big it slipped off my foot as I walked. I took my measuring tape to it and discovered it was really a size 12.5 even though the label said 11.5. Mislabeling happens I guess, lol.

Second pair of these; first pair were excellent. As advertised, though, the initial fit is somewhat tight, but with about 2 weeks wear, they fit great. Out of the box, I thought "no way were they going to fit", but after some break-in, outstanding fit and shoe. Have enjoyed wearing them....all purpose...long-wearing....good-looking. When this pair wears out [first pair lasted about 12-14 months of every-other-day wear] I'll buy another pair. LLBean used to have two styles of these, now only one. Hope they keep them in the stock....love 'em !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jarel so glad you still make these
i'm so glad you still make these, I am still wearing a pair I bought 7 years ago, but their getting tired and the tread is wearing off now. the top bison leather is still in great shape so I will use the old ones just for inside slippers and the new ones can go the distance outside for another 7 years. I see the new ones have eyelets, that is the only dif I can see. just bought another pair today. thanks LL bean cant wait for them to come in.
