I have short hair and I need a warm hat, and this one really does the trick. Good coverage and swell material (wool)- so much better than acrylic ones. LL Bean is my one source for clothing, and I love your products. Please don't change. PS A friend asked me where I get my turtlenecks, and I gave her your catalog so she can order some. I am pulling it down over my ears many times during the day. I think if it were a little longer in size, it would be more comfortable. March 3, 2012

I'm slightly biased though because I had an old LLBean hat that I loved and lost and this one is just not measuring up. It barely covers my ears and yet is so big that it falls over my eyes. I love LL Bean, but I did not like this hat. February 29, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5�by sk8ter41 Women's Wool Knit Hat The hat is good I guess, it matches my LL Bean jacket. If you don't pull it right down to your skull it resembles the Pope's tiara a bit. It needs to be a little more curved around the face but it serves the purpose. February 8, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by aerobinson1018 Wonderful Hat!! I purchased this hat in the purple color and it keeps my head nice and toasty - especially during the chillier times in NYC. The fleece band inside of it is perfectly soft. I have very thick hair and have no problem with the hat staying in place + I didn't get hat hair!!! Which is amazing. The ONLY problem I have with this hat is the non-fleece lined portion makes my forehead itch something fierce if I leave it on while inside. (and the tassel isn't very 'full' - kind of a flimsy little tassel, but cute none the less!) Aside from that - Perfection! January 19, 2012
