Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovinglife1 Nice fitting and comfortable
I have both versions, mens and womens. What I do like about the womens version is that is is lighter weight(compared to the mens) and you can use it has a shirt rather than a jacket. I purchased both the large and XL. They both fit, but of course the XL is a more baggy look. I like that these shirts fit a womens body and do not look as boxy as the mens. If you want to use this type of shirt as a jacket I would suggest buying the mens version, it is a thicker chamois..you will love it. Both are great depending what you want them for. I will buy more next year if different colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tollerlover loved the shirt until it shrank....
Fit well until I washed it.... then it shrank enough so that I could not wear it. Will still probably order the next size up since it is a great shirt but be aware that it does shrink and becomes quite fitted, not at all relaxed....

This shirt is just like the ones of yore, which is a good thing! I normally wear a medium but ordered a large because I will be wearing it as an overshirt. It is perfect with the flannel shirt I also ordered. I did think that the cranberry color would be more red than pink, but it matches the pink color in the dark mallard flannel shirt, so I am pleased: not what I expected but lovely anyway.
Oh, and I ordered my shirts on Feb. 18. They arrived on Feb. 20. THANKS, L.L.Bean!

I am very happy with the shirt and agree with a previous reviewer that the more fitted styling does a lot to dispel the notion that you are just wearing a smaller version of a boxy men's shirt. I also did go one size larger which was a good move. It did shrink some and now fits great. I'm looking forward to many years of comfortable wear!
Also, the Cranberry color is really pale and muted. I returned it for Dark Raspberry which is a deeper color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Turtlesongs These shirts run small, but nice quality
I am a frequent shopper at LL Bean, and always order a medium in shirts, but these shirts run small, had to return one for a large-nice quality though, nice, thick and warm.

Rated 2 out of 5 by oooooo Not like they used to be
Have worn these shirts as an extra layer daily for years in the cold weather. My old one was getting very worn so I asked for a new one for Christmas. Very disappointed in the thin fabric (my old, worn one is still so much thicker than this new one). Seems so cheap for Bean's. The dark raspberry color is also more like a bright fuchsia. I will not be returning it as to not upset my teenage kids who bought it for me, but I will not be ordering another in the future unless the quality of the material improves.

Love this shirt! Got the Cranberry and love the dark red color! It did not fade or shrink when I washed it and it fits perfectly! I also love my flannel shirts I have ordered from LL Bean! It is the perfect barn shirt! Wear it riding all the time!

Not at all pleased with this shirt. I expected cranberry to be a dark red as pictured. It's not. It's a rosey pink color instead. It shrunk in the body but the sleeves are still too long (and I'm 5' 7 1/2") Perhaps a second button on the cuffs might have helped. It's actually cut like a fitted shirt as opposed to a big shirt. I wish I had read more reviews, I most likely would not have ordered it.
