Rated 5 out of 5áby peacetress favorite nighty ever
I bought this nightgown about 3 years ago and wear it year round. It's so soft, smooth and comfortable. Supima cotton makes all the difference. It washes well and retains its size. The texture is almost silky, yet it's cotton and breaths so well. I'd get another one, but not until this one needs replacing.

Rated 1 out of 5áby mattmom Chemical (?) smell
I had already overlooked the unexciting gathering at the V-neck and the overly bright shade of blue when I ordered this item because it is a good midweight nightgown to wear on fall or spring nights, or for traveling. But the unpleasant chemical smell of the nightgown when I opened the newly delivered package this morning was very unappealing. Possibly if I wash it the smell would go away but it isn't worth it. I will just send it back. I think I've had this experience with one or two other items over the years--do not know if it is a factory issue or a dye issue but it is not a good sales tool. I had ordered three nightgowns; only one did not smell. I am about to write a short review of the other one.

Rated 5 out of 5áby MomToTallBoys Just what I have been searching for!
I really wanted 3/4 sleeves for sleeping because my arms always get cold and I didn't want full length or short so this one was perfect! The fabric is really soft and a nice weight, not too thin. I have had no problem with shrinking. It does need to be washed before wearing. The only negative? - I wanted more and they are sold out in my size!

I bought one from a Llbean store and had washed and worn it. This night gown is almost perfect for me: soft Pima cotton, fabric substantial enough for winter, my favorite calf length, and very simple/uncomplicated yet pretty enough styling. It shrinks a bit with dryer but keep the size well if air dry. I am 5'6" and 116lbs and the xs fits fine but I think s will be ok too.
If and only if the sleeve were wrist length it would be wonderful. When i sit in bed reading, the sleeve is just a bit below my elbow (a real 3/4 should be even longer), making it uncomfortable for a bending elbow, also leaving my fore arms feel cold. 3/4 sleeve is so ubiquitous I am sick of it but often have no choice. Long sleeve is much more versatile -- it gives more coverage and if need be can be folded up for people who want to do dishes in their night gowns. But 3/4 is only good for washing dishes and warm climate folks I guess. And Do you not find it annoying when you need to layer over a 3/4?

Rated 5 out of 5áby plantagenet Almost Perfect Nightgown
This is the almost perfect nightgown - I love the fabric, which is silky and a perfect weight; I love the 3/4 length sleeves and the mid-calf length. I also like the pattern, an understated floral. The only drawback is the unflattering droopy-looking V-neck, which would have looked SO MUCH better rounded. Despite the unfortunate V-neck, I plan to order several more because I love the way it feels to sleep in! LLBean, can you bring it back like it is but with a better neckline?

Rated 5 out of 5áby SusannaD Comfy nightgown
I have bought many of these wonderful nightgowns in the past and just bought two more. The fabric is very soft and comfy and launders really well. The colors and prints are always very pretty.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Lovinglife1 Very soft and comfortable, feels like a big hug
Just got one of these and the gown was so comfortable. It didn't ride up and get all twisted. Very soft cotton. Great length. My husband even likes it. No, it's not sexy, but it looks and feels good on. Haven't washed it yet, so I can't comment on that. I did order a second one, as I know the first will be worn often.

Rated 5 out of 5áby queenmom1 Short sleeve, please!
I LOVE this gown. I have 4 and in the south I can wear them most of the year. The more you wash them the softer and silkier they get. The problem is in the summer. I need the long length in a short sleeve version. Please plan on making short sleeve for the summer season next year! I will buy 4 more in the short sleeve!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5áby tammyK comfortable, silky supima nightgown
I just received the longer sleeve nightgown in plum rose today and immediately washed it. All my other pima nightgowns are knee length with short sleeves but I wanted one gown with more coverage. The Supima fabric is silky and washes and dries in the dryer with no wrinkles. I also love the pima cotton tees which launder and dry well with no extra care. This fabric is a pleasure to wear, looks beautiful on. Love all the colors.

Rated 3 out of 5áby UpstateShopper nice but not the same
A year or so ago I purchased one of these in a different patterned fabric, light blue with tiny flowers. The softest, most comfy nightgown ever. So I wanted another and the same fabric was not available but this one was. This is soft, but not as soft as the first one and also heavier and stiffer. I had hoped this one would get softer with time but that has not happened. The first one was definitely worth the price but this second one, not so much.
