I own several of these nightgowns. I love the soft, silky cotton fabric and the long mid calf length. They wash perfectly and stay silky soft.
I do prefer elbow length short sleeves and so I hem the sleeves shorter. For me, no problem.
Please make a nightgown in Bright Navy to go with the zip front Supima robe.
Love these nightgowns! ... And the Supima zip front robes!

I was a little reluctant in buying this nightgown because of the three-quarter sleeve length. However, it's still a really nice fabric and very comfortable. I bought a size L for extra room while sleeping. I'm 5'4" and weigh about 158 lbs. and the L is perfect. I'm not sure I understand the reviews that talk about the "dumpiness" of the gown. Nightgowns are supposed to be loose and comfortable for sleeping; rather than tight and form fitting. I think this one is a winner! I do agree with the reviewers who are asking for this length in short and long sleeves. The short gown they currently offer does shrink too much and then isn't long enough. LL Bean used to offer the Supima Nightgown in long sleeves. I don't know why they discontinued those. Wish they would come back!

I have been searching for quality nightgowns in a plus size for years. I purchased on a sale to take a chance on it fitting me. This is not the cutest nightgown but it is very comfortable and sleeps cool at night. The length is perfect well below the knee for us modest girls. I will purchase again!

Most comfortable nightgown I've ever worn. The soft and light fabric, the loose (not baggy) cut, the practical but modest length of sleeves and hem, the easy over-the-head neckline with no fussy buttons or collar.
It's just perfect to sleep in, nothing ever binds or restricts in any way. Fabric breathes. Feels gentle on, you are wearing a nightgown, but you are not fighting with a nightgown nor weighted down by a nightgown. You get up and it just falls into place.
Granted it's a simple design, but still feminine. Also washes well. If only... only... there were some actually pretty patterns. I bought the hydrangea, that is sweet. But those other two, I could not bring myself to wear, and I'd buy them in a minute if they were not dorky. Maybe some larger floral prints or a fluffy cloud/sky pattern, or big sunflowers, or pink roses, or abstract swirls in sherbet colors. Exactly the same nightgown but minus the tiny English spinster prints.

Fantastic nightgown - very silky soft fabric and with the calf length that I prefer. I'd suggest ordering up a size if you want it roomy. I normally wear a M in LLBean tops, but the large in this nightgown is perfect for me. 5'5" 138 lb I don't have big arms or shoulders. I wish the short sleeve gown also came in this length. I would buy two.

This is a wonderful nightgown, so soft and fits me perfectly. Comfortable to sleep in. I haven't laundered it yet but am not worried. I have never had such a soft nightgown. Wish it came in more patterns than just wisteria though (for the plus size).

I really love these nightgowns but the tag in the seam is awful. It was poking me, so I cut it out. That only made it worse, because both tags aren't soft fabric. One is a stiffer material that once trimmed felt like it was going to cut me. So at 10:30 at night I had to rip open the seam, remove the tags, and resew the seam. I hope you will go back to the good, old fashioned tags that use to simply softly fray when they were cut out.

The "hand" of the fabric is lovely as is the print (wisteria). I feel the style of the item could be greatly improved with either long or short sleeves instead of 3/4 length sleeves & knee length for better coverage. The best of course would be an offering of both long sleeves for winter or air conditioned spaces and short sleeves for summer or warmer climates. The key is a knee length and round neckline.

A Great spring & fall nightgown.
Wonderfully constructed of soft substantial Pima cotton.
Perfect below knee length for walking, bending & sitting. Not too long & not too short. You won't be holding it up or pulling it down. Has nice 2 inch side split at hem.
I did not want to spend this much money on a nightgown, but am glad I did. Worth every penny. My old cheap nighties are going in the trash.
Fit is not relaxed, runs true to size. I'm 5 feet & 100 pounds & the small fits perfect.
