After one wash and dry on high heat I tried to wear these beautiful soft silky PJs. My last 2 pairs of supima pajamas dated back to early 2000, the empire waist rose bud print. I will keep this plain blue pair in size small even though the bottoms are hugh.
The waist band is loose and the legs look more like palazzo pants since laid flat the bottoms measure 10 inches across This width is carried up to the hip. The length is at least 6 inches too long. These should be better for the tall women who have complained of short bottoms. I am 5'2" so the previous bottoms have shrunk to the perfect length.
The top falls at low hip so it appears the short length problem has been corrected. The top fit is comfortably loose but stays put on my narrow shoulders.
With alterations I will have a nice pair of pajamas.
The new plain blue color is so pretty.I can recommend these to anyone who does not mind doing some alteration. Frankly I would prefer to have them fit out of the package. Also please make these available in petite sizes though I am not sure if a small petite would be the longer top length I prefer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MEDWgoWildcats Excellent pajamas!!
I just ordered my third set of these pj's and I love them. They are a lovely soft knit and the perfect weight for three seasons of the year. The fit is relaxed enough to be very comfortable without being baggy and they wash really well. The colors and patterns are pretty also.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LYNNRZ love the supima, fit is still a problem
Returned a pair because neckline was so large that I couldn't keep the top on my shoulders, also top was very short. Bottoms had poor elasticity. I thought they would shrink after washing them, but they did not. When I called to return them, they were newly styled, and I thought they corrected the problems. The bottoms are still a problem. the top is still short, and I am only 5'4". I love the material, but haven't decided whether I want to pay to have the waistband fixed, or return the new pajama's. Please let me know if you fix this problem.

The Supima cotton fabric is wonderful. It is soft and surprisingly warm. The thread that the pajamas and nightgowns are sewn with is picky. I am not sure if it is the thread or the stitch that causes the problem. I just wear the pajamas and nightgowns inside out. I also took out the hem on the sleeves to get a bit more length. The legs of the pajama bottoms can be cut to length and no hem is needed. They do not ravel when washed.

This is my second pair of the Supima pajamas. I bought the first ones a few years ago and they have worn very well. The Large fits me just right (they were long but did shrink about an inch with washing). I am 5'4", 155lbs. The material is silky smooth, the rise of the pants is "classic," to the waist, not like the styles that barely cover the belly button. I like the slightly scooped neckline since I don't like sleepwear that is too high on the neck. My first choice for this pair would have been one of the prints, but they are sold out. I settled for the solid blue, which is pretty, but please LL Bean, bring back this style in more prints!

I love the material and would give this a 5 star if the fit improves. For the x-small which is meant for a more petite person, the pants were several inches too long and too baggy. I kept the items, but had to make my own alternations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Demeter Best PJ bottoms
I buy these just for the bottoms as the tops are too short for me at 5'9" tall. The fabric Is just wonderful, wish I could just buy the bottoms! Also every year there seems to be 1 pink and 1 blue solid and 1 pink and 1 blue print. Some new colors would be great as pink and blue are getting old now.
The feel of the fabric is just great, smooth and silky feeling, but 100% cotton. I always grab these first after I have done all of my laundry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tik82 BEST PJ's EVER!!!
I have so many pairs of these pj's, in many colors/ patterns, going back several years!! I practically live in them when I'm at home!
They are SO comfortable, not too heavy as so many pajamas are, (do pajama makers not know about blankets and quilts???) and the supima material lasts and lasts, and always looks good....plus it is SO soft!!!
Can't recommend these any higher!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by lovethebirds Both pretty and practical PJ's
The brightwater blue print is very pretty. To extend the wearing period, I like to find a V neck short sleeve top that coordinates. Of course, the pima collection has brightwater blue top but I found the sunrise peach color (228439) to coordinate very well. If the top style is slightly fitted, I size up but relaxed fit I stay with the same size. As all prior purchases, these wash and dry easily with no touch up needed. They also travel well and don't look like a wrinkled mess by the end of the trip. Please LLB, don't change a thing except offer different color coordinations, aqua or maybe lilac?

Rated 5 out of 5 by nightgale Great PJ's
Wonderful fabric, lightweight, but not thin or flimsy, silky finish and nice drape. Quality stitching, hem and trim. Best for warmer seasons. Loose and so comfortable, just pop on and forget.
Easy for sleeping, does not bunch up. No buttons, strings or gadgets. Simple elastic waist and wide scoop neck.
I'm about a size XL and these almost bordered on being too big. They do fit, but the cut is meant to allow room. (So I'd say get your normal size, don't go up one.)
Pink color is a sort of light fuschia with bizarre paisleys, might be considered cute but won't win any art contests. Typical LLB with their strange patterns. Overall, a bright, casual effect.
I really do love the ease and relaxed comfort of these PJ's.
