I love love love this shirt. It is so soft. I sleep in it. I wear it with jeans. I washed and dried it first...shrunk just a touch but now after washing and drying and wearing a dozen times, it still looks and feels great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanFanofGoretex Very comfortable for sleeping and everyday wear
I would recommend this sleep henley to anyone. It's not quite as warm as I thought it would be but very comfortable. But, I like heavy clothing for winter for daily wear and sleeping (personal preference) so don't let that detour you from purchasing this sleep shirt. Highly recommended though since it is very soft and comfortable.

I ordered this sleep top in cream about a month ago, and as soon as it arrived, I wanted to order several(!) more, but they were sold out of my size (M). Curses.
Now I see they're back in stock & I am ecstatic. I have lots of tops from LLBean, and this one instantly became my absolute favorite. It's THAT good. (I realize it's sold as a sleep top, but you can absolutely wear it "out.")
Details: lovely weight cotton - very substantial, without being heavy. Made to last, with double-reinforced seams.
The softness of the cotton is nothing short of sublime. I basically LIVE in LLB pima cotton tops, but this new gem is even softer (& more substantial) than the pima tees.
I always wear a M, and I'm exactly a M in this top - it's cut beautifully. The shoulders are wide enough for me (YAY!) and the so-soft sleeves completely cover my wrists in cosiness - lovely length.
Lastly, it washes beautifully & keeps it shape perfectly!
I ADORE THIS TOP, and as soon as I order some more I'll be wearing them night & day. I'm going to keep ordering the cream for now, because it looks like "old world" perfection to me.
I'd love to see this in a TRUE navy (a navy that is very close to black), & a deep charcoal grey shade would be wonderful :)
Note to LLBean: Never stop making this top. Never.

This is such a wonderfully soft sleep shirt - the style is great for daytime use, too. I'd love to see more colors - I'd order another one!

Very nice top that matches bottoms bought separately. It runs a little large. If I wanted to buy a second one, I would buy a size down,.

First of all, I wanted to buy Velvet-Trim Henley (cream color) last year, but it was quickly gone and I was glad to see this again in Christmas 2013 LLBean catalog. I liked so much cream color and it's really cream. Feels soft and comfortable next to my skin, very pretty snaps instead buttons. I do not know, why henley called sleep, that's a perfect under any jacket or shirt. Only one thing, I am petite and sleeves a little bit long.

Shirt is very functional but the fabric is not nearly as soft as I had expected it to be. It is still quite comfortable and wearable but, for the price, I think it should have felt more plush.

I purchased two of these tops to go with the coordinating flannel pants. I love to wear these in the evening while reading or watching TV. The henleys are very well made, and the colors are vibrant. They launder well, and are very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyBeanCustomer Wonderful to sleep in
I love the henley sleep tee, very soft and nice to sleep in and does not seem to loose its shape when you wash it. I usually need a petite in most clothes but am able to turn the cuff up once on the sleeve and the sleeve is then not too long on me. I ordered a size small in it at about 5ft.2inches tall and 105lbs.
