Love, love, love them. So comfy and cozy! Ordering a new pair just in case they are discontinued

Rated 2 out of 5 by wvtrailrider Don't fit properly
I have bought the wicked good clogs for years and love them, but was ready for a different style so I bought these. They do not fit right, in that they suck your socks off. I also keep stepping on the backs as they don't cup the heel well. I love Bean products and amsurprised at this item. I exchanged for my long-loved clogs.

I ordered these in my normal size and they fit fine. I have very wide feet and the width was no problem. They are warm and toasty and have a sturdy bottom sole if you choose to wear them outside the house. In my opinion they are 'slipper-ish' and more suitable for inside wear. Maybe a bit pricey but with LL Bean quality and guarantee - worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by dwilkinson14 They are great but.......
These are great slippers,,,, but. Make sure you buy them at least a size SMALLER as the leather will stretch and the fleece will shrink.
I have bought these slippers for years, but I loved the old scuffs the most.
I continue to buy the slippers even though lately I find myself buying them yearly. I should not have to buy them every single year as I only need to wear them for about 6 months a year.
Lately the pairs I have bought have had problems. The stitching is coming apart on my latest pair. The pair before that, the trim on the top came apart.
I do miss the scuffs, I find that when the rubber soles get wet, they are slippery on a ceramic floor. Those all leather soles never got slick and they never wore out.
I stick with Bean because I do love the product, it just seems that it has slipped as of late.
Someday I will get it together to actually send a pair back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LauraBird Loved them for about 2 weeks
Out of the box they were perfect! Perfect color, perfect length, perfect width. Then they stretched out. They feel like they are a full size (or more) bigger now in width. I am also stepping on the back rim of the scuff. If I wear socks with them they stay on better. I've worn them 8 or 10 times since my purchase 3 weeks ago so they're fairly new. I've returned only one or two items from Beans my whole life. But I do think I may have to return these and perhaps try another pair in one size smaller. I wear an 8, regular width.

Rated 1 out of 5 by asarahw Too Narrow, Bought the Men's Version Size Smaller
I love these and they used to come in fun colors. Ordered a pair a while ago and found them to be very narrow. Please note I do NOT have a wide foot.
The men's version in a size smaller did the trick. Sadly no fun colors in the men's options. But they fit and I'm on my second pair.
Please bring back the colors for women's and make them a bit wider, just a touch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by spotter22 durable but narrow
love this slipper. love the way it feels on bare feet. but sometimes my ankles are cold and i want to wear thin socks. I have a wide size 6 foot. I can't even wear thin socks with these. I wish they were offered in a wide or cut a bit roomier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TruLLBCUSTOMER Not the previous scuffs
I have been a loyal LLBean customer for 25+ years. I have bought at least EIGHT PAIR of these women's Scuffs over the last 15 years. Trust me, the ones I just ordered (which I just returned) are NOT the same quality as in years past. LL BEAN has totally changed who makes these or has totally let the quality go down hill. I USED TO LOVE THESE SLIPPERS! No others would compare! I was so disappointed when my new ordered pair showed up and they were totally NOTHING like the quality from years before. Please go back to quality LLBEAN! Please!

Rated 4 out of 5 by KGH1 Love, but questionable construction
I love, love, love these slippers. I am a fan of the "scuff" style, which i find is either loved or loathed generally. They keep my feet nice and warm without overheating and are very snug. I also found them to be sufficiently cushy to stand in. My back tends to get sore very quickly while i'm working in the kitchen, and these offered enough padding to alleviate this. It's also nice that I can wear these around the house, and don't have to worry about changing into shoes when i need to dash outside to the garden or mailbox because they have a nice rubber sole.
Yes, the shearling inside does flatten down, but i never found that this affects comfort or warmth.
I generally wear a 6.5 wide but LL Bean shoes generally run large for me so i got these in 6 medium, and the fit is perfect.
My only complaint, and this is a big one, is that after about three months the stitching that connects the sole to the suede began to unravel. No sweat, i just returned them and got a new pair. But this new pair (i'm not kidding here) is two left feet. More specifically, the "right" slipper has a right sole with a left upper. You'd be surprised by just how uncomfortable this is. I have concluded the manufacturing process for these particular slippers has a few kinks and you'd be best to try these out in store so you can make sure you're getting a quality pair. Hopefully third time's a charm for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SP5952764 Could not walk in slippers
Slippers were of fine quality and comfortable, but I could not walk in them. They were not too big, it was just that the low heel of the slipper did not allow the shoe to stay on my foot. I am a senior and did not want to fall again as I did the past year. I really tried to wear them, but they did not work for me. I have purchased moccasins in the past where the heel came up all the way and loved them. I returned them and got a refund.
