Bought 2 of these shirts back in the Fall. They were great in the beginning. They both have shrinked to be unwearable for me. Taking them to the thrift store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SunbeltGirl My husband absolutely loves this shirt!
In fact, he likes it so much, when they went on sale he wanted another one.
He also suggested I get my dad and brother one which I did.
It's warm but not hot. The blend is soft and very comfortable.

I want to start out by saying that these shirts are great. I buy a new one just about every year if I can catch them on the daily mark-down for $20-$30. I just purchased one this past week and it is a much slimmer fit than the others that I have. I am 6 feet and 160 lbs. and a small in the "traditional fit" is perfect as long as I don't machine dry them. This last shirt has a MUCH slimmer fit through the shoulders, chest and waist. The waist is even a little shorter. It's as if they stuck an S on a size XS. I'm fairly slim so it fits well enough that I'm going to keep it but I was very surprised. If this is the new fit for these shirts I will need to move my size UP to a medium and those of you who sizing based on previous orders may consider doing the same. I will say however that the shirt is more true to size with this recent fit than it was previously. I have always ordered down a size and I guess now I can just stick to medium which according to the size charts is what I am. I am just used to LL Bean shirts running a size large and have gotten used to ordering accordingly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RDud Great shirt (but a few odd ones)
I really love these shirts, Over
the past three or four years I bought
8 of them! six of the Henley style
and two with a collar. I like the
Henley style better, and in the winter
that is pretty much all I wear,
I normally wear medium long which are
great for me, Unfortunately I found
that the most recent ones I bought
were not quite up to the normal high
standard. On one the neck seam to
shoulder seam distance was 1/2 inch
longer on one side than on the other. The
second one seems to have been
mislabeled as the sleeves are too short,
In spite of these problems I love these

I loved these shirts. They now itch a lot and shrink substantially in one washing. I won't be buying any more until they change manufacturers (again?).
PS: No profile information you may see will be truthful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Texflix Quality Henley
I'm 6' 2" tall and weigh 225, but the large was a tad too small. LL Bean exchanged the large for an extra large no questions asked. In the XL I have more than enough room, but the sleeves are a bit long. However, if you want a quality henley that will keep you toasty warm, this is the shirt for you. Kinda wish winter wasn't so short down here in Texas.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Makowa fairly good, few things to be aware of
just got one of these, I Am glad that it was long enough in the tall. I Am 6.4 whereas llbean's tall sizes are intended for persons 6.1 to 6.3.
there are a few things you should be aware of with this piece of clothing.
for one thing it contains merino wool, which cannot be put into the dryer. it will have to be hung up or placed flat to dry, which will take some time since wool can stay wet for a while.
also because they contain wool, they are a little on the scratchy side. and although they have a cotton lining, you will probably still want to put on something else underneath to keep you more comfortable.
I wanted a rustic green heather, but that was sold out by the time I got around to buying it.
they are also made in Canada, which is kind of a surprise since most clothing items are made in countries overseas.
overall it is a good clothing piece and it should hopefully keep me warm on the colder days.
my advice to you, get more than one, so that you have one to wear when you wash the other.
also wear an undershirt under these to avoid scratching of the wool fibers.

Collar was wavy (bacon neck?) before even washing and is not typical LL Bean quality.Very disappointed.

Terribly itchy shirt, arms very tight out of the bag. Followed care directions but seemed tighter than the first time I wore it, had hoped the itchiness would lessen. Gave it to the wife, but after trying it on she didn't want it. Waste of money. I think I will stick with the waffle henleys also, love them and most other Bean products.

This shirt is uncomfortable and quiet itchy. It is cut to fit a slim individual. I workout and the sleeves are tight around the arms and the shirt is small through out the chest. The cotton liner is quiet thin, and you can feel the itch of the wool. The shirt also needs to be hanged dry. You cannot place it in the dryer. After washing, pieces of the shirt come off and wear away. The quality of the shirt does not equal the price. Low value for your money.I have seen these reduced in price at the LL Bean stores. Maybe returns? I exchange it for a 100% cotton waffle henly. This shirt is cut to fit a true XXL man, and it is soft as well.
