Rated 3 out of 5áby StephTV Knees not made to last
The pants fit well, and handle cold Canadian winter just fine. However, at the end of my son's first winter wearing these pants last year, he tore a hole in one knee. He still fits in the pants this winter, but he just tore a hole in the other knee. I'll patch them, but I was hoping that these pants could get passed on to his younger brother. I don't think that's going to happen, and I had to buy another pair of snowpants for him to use skiing, as I'm not sure that I can count on these to keep him dry anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5áby RunningDiva After 3 Snowboard Seasons Still Looks New
The title says it all. We are trying to get a fourth season out of the jacket and bibs for our almost 7 year old daughter, but may finally need to size up. The fabric is so durable that even after all her spills on the mountains, mud, rocks, etc. it looks brand new. I know they are pricey, but if you size up a little (bibs are adjustable) then you can get multiple seasons out of them. Also, I knew she was warm in them and only wore long underwear underneath, even in thick powder in the Rockies.
Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5áby CDNMomof2 Excited for winter in these great snow pants!
These snow pants are very well made and are of quality material. I really like the additional heavy duty fabric at the knees and seat. They are fully lined with Thinsulate, have lined pockets with zippers, adjustable at the top shoulder and also have a quick release buckle. This would be useful to take the pants off without removing her whole coat.
My daughter is 6.5 years old and 46 inches tall. I got the 6X-7 size for her and they are quite big. The inseam of the pants is about 20 inches and the torso is about 23 inches. I will have to sew up the bottoms and the top shoulder area for her to wear them this winter. But at least we'll get 2 years out of them.
My daughter is looking forward to this winter in her new L.L. Bean snow pants.

I know its not winter yet but my grand son saw these ski pants when I got to his home and put them on and Slid down thw lawn with them on. No grass stain and he said that these are lighter then his old pair but much warmer. The only thing is I think you could make some with other color & 1/2 sizes too.

bought these in size 8 for my tall and slim 7 year old. they were too big (which is okay, she can use them next year after all) and very loose around the waist/chest area. wish they had a velcro straps on the sides to adjust the fit around the waist...

Rated 5 out of 5áby Soloniowa In love with Cold Buster Bibs
I have been buying the Cold Buster Bibs for several years. After buying different brands at various prices, I decided to try LL Bean and now, would never buy another brand. Why switch when these have proven themselves year after year? These snowpants do as promised. They keep my kids dry in wet snow and warm in Iowa's harsh winters. They wear well after many washings and I've been able to hand down the bibs to my younger children. They run a little long, but are adjustible at the top, so it hasn't been a problem. I would and have recommend these snowpants time and time again.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Vivian3 Great Winter Gear to keep you warm and dry
My son loves them, We live in New England and you know how cold it can get. He is warm and dry after hours of play in the snow.
I ordered a large size (18) and I am glad I did. He can bend, run and jump without that bulky stuffed feeling. We are happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5áby hunndw Does the Job
Full disclosure: I'm really rating the same product a purchased last year, since my recent buy was a size bigger for next winter. This winter the bibs have stood up to a very, very active 8 year old. They're easy on and off, plenty warm, water resistant, dry overnight, and haven't torn despite close to 100 recesses, more than 20 sledding trips, a dozen or so hikes in the woods, and 2 treks through an abandoned quarry which involved crawling through brambles on our hands and knees. Warm, sturdy, and easy to care for.
