A good looking rug that does its job ... with three grandkids and a visiting Lab a lot can happen at the door .... mat catches the dirt etc and is big enough to hold all the shoes at the door when taken off. Looks good on entry .... have two other mats ... a smaller one at the garage entry which is doing its job as well ... keeping grime out of the laundry area .... a new 1/2 moon for outside which still has to be tested but looks good on the deck/patio ...

This is a poorly designed product. The pieces of dirt wedge themselves in the grooves of the leaf design and cannot be vacuumed out or brushed out. Only a power wash will work and this is not practical in the winter time as you need to be outdoors.
It looks filthy all the time -- because it is! I cannot get it clean. I have two and they stay in the basement where no one can see them.

I recently purchased the green waterhog doormat, size large, for inside my sunroom. It arrived in five short days and looks great! I have had the smaller version for several years and know this mat will do the job better than any other doormat I've owned. Thank you for selling such an attractive, reliable product.

We just purchased this large indoor waterhog mat to replace a smaller sized mat by our front door. We purchased two medium sized mats to put by our front and back doors after bringing home a puppy in the fall, and after a wet, muddy winter we realized we need a larger one by the front door. The mats stay put much better than others, soak up lots of water and dirt, and have made a valiant effort at withstanding a teething puppy's gnawing. I only wish they could make one that followed her around the house!

I have a huge Golden retriever and a Labrador along with a Maine Coon Cat. All of them are house trained and well behaved but fur?! WOW the fur! I have always had problems finding a rug that didn't trap dog hair and look terrible after a few weeks. The vacuum will only get so much when its an area rug and generally will suck part of the rug up as well! These rugs do NOT trap dog hair! The hair comes right up without it being tangled in the fibers. I was AMAZED as it was the first rug (I am over 40 and have had dogs my whole life) I have ever found that does not trap pet hair! I guess the same fibers that help it not get waterlogged help with the pet hair. I bought several of the light tan color and am using them in my home as regular utility rugs. There is one under the kitchen sink, all of our exterior doors and I am using one in the bathrooms rather then the regular bathroom rug. I can't gush over them enough when it comes to the multi pet home! The backing is a heavy rubber so they do not move ... even when my Golden retriever rolls over it and sleeps on his back! I am going to guess it would be harder for a naughty dog to sink his teeth into a corner as well though I have not had the "pleasure" of testing it. These are clean, must have rugs for pet owners ..pet owners with long haired pets =)

I am very pleased with the quality of this rug. I have ordered three other Waterhog rugs in various sizes and colors in the past and they are all still going strong. I live on a gravel road/driveway. It stops the dirt in their tracks and absorbs moisture from rain, snow and ice. It
is well worth the price and earns it's keep!

I purchased this mat 2 years ago...and it's still in great condition! I liked it so much, I bought one for the front door, too. It really does keep a lot of dirt and water off the floor, by catching most of the water and trapping all that dirt that would normally be tracked throughout the house. I also have one of the outdoor mats right outside my kitchen. And I have the waterhog cargo mat for my SUV and the regular car mats in the same vehicle. I love them all! This product does what it claims. You won't be sorry...buy it now!

Bought a long runner to go w/ leaf pattern mudroom mat....waffle blue is MUCH brighter than the leaf pattern but you can't see this on the website. Runner more of a royal blue....none of the heathery look with the other mats. Still a great buy..keeps the ice from coming in from the barn....figure a few good trips through mudseason will take care of that glow.

I bought this mat in blue so many years ago, I've lost count,but at least 10 years ago. It is at the main door and shows no signs of wear. It vacuums well and on occasion, has had undergo some high pressure spraying with the hose. It dried quickly and the gunk washed right out. It has no smell even after all this time. I'm about to buy a bigger one for the wet winter muck and this will go to a different door until summer.

Recently purchased the waterhog doormat to protect our brand-new hardwood floors and I could not be more pleased. It is better than advertised, so much so that I immediately ordered another for the outdoor entry way and will order yet another soon! I haven't yet had to clean it other than the occasional vaccuum. In addition to absorbing water, snow. ice and mud, it is good looking as well.
