Rated 5 out of 5 by TB00 Love this shirt
I love this shirt. I wear it often in the winter because it is warm and soft. Because the sleeves are too long for me, I generally have the sleeves rolled up. The only thing that could make this shirt better are buttons on the slits below the cuffs to help keep the cuffs rolled up. I ended up adding buttons and now the shirt is perfect!

Rated 2 out of 5 by waterw Great - but it SHRINKS!!!
This is a super shirt. It is very comfortable but it shrinks a lot the first time it is washed. My sleeves are an inch & 1/2 too short after the first wash - and that was drying on the delicate setting! Buy a size larger if you decide to purchase this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BUTLER The Fleeced-Lined Flannel Shirt is AWESOME!
If I had to rate this shirt between 1 thru 10 (10 being the best) I'd give it an 11.
Not only is this shirt beautifully made but most importantly it's comfy & cozy, and warm & stylish to boot. I love the purple toned colored shirt and am bitterly disappointed that I couldn't order more of them since they've been sold out. Come on guys get your buyers to triple the orders if not quadruple the orders next season because trust me they will sell. Oh if only LL Bean could purchase more of them now so that we could have them for the rest of the winter & use them during the chilly spring months when outdoor weather makes you want this fleece-lined shirt badly.
I purchased a 3x and though large it is not extremely so and is able to let me wear multiple layers of clothing to be extra warm during New England's very cold winter months.
I launder it in a cold gentle cycle & air dry it, and it comes out beautifully without any wrinkles and still soft & snuggy.

I don't even care that the colors of the two fleece lined flannel shirts I own are incredibly bland and not what I normally would have chosen (my 5 other choices were sold out). This shirt is SO FLIPPIN' COMFORTABLE! I wear mine every evening in lieu of a sweater, and I also wear it to the gym in lieu of a jacket. I look like a lumberjack and I don't care. My 6 year old told me the shirt scares her, but I DON'T CARE.
I understand why this shirt sells out so quickly. My fleece lined shirt fairy may have visited me recently, so (fingers crossed!) I might be getting one of the colors I'd prefer. Either way, I would highly recommend this shirt - though I use it more as a light jacket. It's the perfect weight. Note of warning - be careful when you wash it. I'd recommend line drying. It shrinks a tiny bit, so to be safe, you may want to order a size larger than you'd normally wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CTGardenGirl warm enough...
I purchased the teal colored one at the store to replace my old hoodies. I like not having a hood. XL fits well, I usually take a 1X. I layer this over a short sleeved t-shirt, and going through meno, I put this on and off several times each day. :0)
I really like it. It's not too heavy, but just right for me for indoor wear to take off the chill. The sleeves come 1/2 way down my hand, actually down to the knuckles on my fingers, and I'm 5'9". It's long enough, which is hard to find at my height and taller. I have not washed it yet. I'm afraid too, for fear of shrinkage, but when I do, I will do it with cold water and likely hang dry it just in case.
One thing I would change, like others have commented, is the arm holes could be a tad bigger. I sometimes have to 'tuck' my shirt sleeves in to lay flat in the sleeve.
Yes, the flannel is not fuzzy like typical flannel, but it is soft. The fleece is thin, but the 2 layers together are just right for what I'm looking for. I would buy another, but I see they are sold out. Story of my life, LL Bean, when I find something I like and go back to buy another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RVSRider11 Great flannel
I finally bought one of these flannels a few weeks ago after admiring my boyfriend's forever, and I absolutely love it! It is very warm and soft, works great as a middle layer. I have the capri blue color, which is definitely brighter than I expected from the image online, but a nice color regardless. Hopefully it will fade a little in time. The fleece lining is very soft, and has remained so after a few runs through the wash. The fit it a bit roomier than I expected, but I don't mind it. Overall, an exceptionally warm, comfortable flannel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolCola My favorite 'happy shirt' in fleece lined flannel
This shirt is a winner. The fleece lining makes all the difference. I use my two as light weight jackets and when it is really cold , as a layer. They wash well, colors have stayed fast & are warm without being heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Southerngal123 Teal Fleece Flannel Big Hit!
I ordered the Teal Fleece Flannel shirt for my teenage daughter as an extra Christmas present. It was on back order since December 13th and it just came in today. It was well worth the wait. Today it's snowing in North Carolina and my daughter came home from school early and said " it is sooo cold" and I said..well this should warm you up!" She was so thrilled with it that she pulled off her sweater and put it right on with a big "YES!" My daughter is 5'2 and quite curved. I ordered her a Petite large which fit her great. It covers her back-side with leggings and looks great with her jeans. She has plenty of layering room but it does not look bulky at all. And the color is perfect for my green eyed baby girl! It makes me so happy to make her so happy!! Thanks Bean
Ps ( and my husband loved his Loden fleece flannel as well. He got it on Christmas Day and has worn it almost every weekend since!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by linny1 IT'S PERFECT DON'T LISTEN TO OTHERS..
I'M 5' 7" TALL 155 LBS I WANTED THIS TO BE MORE FITTED SO I ORDERED A MED STILL HAD SOME SPACE, I LIKE TO FEEL THE FLEECE CLOSE TO MY SKIN. OK NOW COMPARED LAST YEARS, YES THE FLEECE IS NOT AS SILKY SOFT, BUT STILL SOFT & WARM, THINK OLD MODELS HEM FLIPED UP BECAUSE THE FLEECE WAS A FINER SLIKIER FABRIC, THE SLEEVES ARE A TAD LONGER LIKE THAT & LIKE THAT FLEECE GOES UP NECK & ENDS OF ARM. I GOT CAPRI BLUE CAUSE I WEAR JEANS ALOT WILL MATCH MORE.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LEBean Good but...Not as good
Why did they "fix it" when "it ain't broke"? After receiving two of last year's fleece-lined shirts as a gift, I ordered this year's. A good shirt yes but the fleece lining is lame compared to the previous year's. They say it's improved, but it's not as warm and I think they switched to this thinner, less silky lining to use in both men's and women's shirts to save money. Those that aren't familiar with the prior year's shirt will like but I am disappointed.
