I was thrilled to see that LL Bean began offering my favorite pants once again. I had ordered the Allagash chinos a couple of years ago while on sale and they are my favorite pants. Truly casual pants, with a great fit and a neat look that are well made and extremely comfortable. I just received another pair of Allagash chinos, but they are only similar to my first pair. The material is much lighter weight and don't hold their shape as well after washing. I must say I'm disappointed that they are not identical to the originals but hopeful that after wearing a few times I will grow to like them more so than I do after one day of wearing them.

These pants are very high quality and fit perfectly. I don't think a better pair of pants exist, seriously. I loved my first pair so much I purchased 2 more.

These may be my all time favorite pants. Rugged looking, but good for a business casual work environment. Great colors, very comfortable. The gusseted crotch is the best thing that ever happened to me. The only thing I'm not wild about is the loop closures for the back pockets, but the pants are just that comfortable that it's really not that big of a deal. Bought them in loden, getting two more colors today.

I bought these for work.. during the New England winter..I hope I won't freeze.. Ihad a pair of stone washed Khaki's from Bean that I bought in 2006.. I love them.. but they are no longer offered.. Those had an 8.6 weight and the operator indocated these were 10 weight.. but really light.. and not showing on the web site is a funky double right pocket.. I have no idea wha that's for or how to use it.. (??)

I am a farmer and my work requires that I be active. I love the gusset crotch which gives me a loose fit and allows me to bend stretch, squat, etc.
They are also more comfortable than traditional pants while driving.

If these pants came in Black and dark Charcoal they would be a hit .These pants are truely light weight unlike some of your other so called and dry very quickly, very comfortable as well

Nice pants. Got loden color. Fit reminds me of my Original Mountain Kakhis, but lighter weight fabric that can be worn in summer too. Nice gusset, right rise length. Going to buy another color.
Only concerns were waist fit a half inch tighter than normal, had some funny orange accent stiching, that was not shown in web images, at bottom of fly. Fixed that with a Sharpie.

Pants fit decent and the material is ok but I was looking for a darker color pant and online the sandstone looks greyish. When they arrived they are light khaki. I gave them 3 stars because the pants are good but like I said the color is way off.
I am returning these.
