I bought a pair for both my boys.
The shoes seem to run very tight and narrow.
My boys have regular to narrow feet and they did not like them. They said they just felt tight all over.
I sent them both back for refund.
The look of the shoe was nice, but the fit was way off.

These are good shoes, although they are a little narrow to fit. The purpose for buying these shoes was for my son to do it by himself. This was not achieved, he needs help to put them on, may be in a future when they are not that hard he may be able to do it. Still they are great, sturdy shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zookeeper25 great look and quality
this is my first purchase of an LLBean pair of shoes for our son and he loves them. No laces, good fit on his long, narrow foot, and the green and blue colors are a nice combination. We expect them to easily last the year if he doesn't outgrow them.

The loop for the laces broke. Not durable enough.

These were great shoes, that I wish fit my son on the first try. I liked them more than he did - but he would have kept them if they fit better. Just very small ... make sure to get a size up.

These are VERY well made sneakers and I have been very pleased with the quality. They stand up to my little boy's activities (and his tendency to walk on his toes) better than any others he has owned. My biggest caveat (and why I gave them four stars) is that these run SMALL. Plan on buying at least one size up, particularly if your child has high arches (like mine) or a wider foot. The throat of the sneaker does not allow well for the passage of a high arch, and they can be frustrating to put on if you buy to size. If I buy a size up, they end up perfect.

The shoe looks to be of good quality but is very hard to get on. I bought a size larger than he usually wears and had a very difficult time to get the shoe on. Had to use a shoe horn with difficulty.

My 5-year old son has autism and we've always had a hard time getting him to keep his shoes on due to sensory issues. For a while, we got around this by having him wear canvas high-tops laced up tight, but honestly they didn't provide enough support, especially on days he goes running with his Dad. However, we got our first pair of Multisport Sneakers and they are a hit. He keeps them on, loves the bungee cords and is comfortable regardless of the days' activities. I couldn't be more THRILLED about a sneaker. Trust me, we're stocking up on this versatile shoe.

Durable, comfortable, and just the right fit (may need to go 1/2 a size up if you have a growning boy)!

These shoes are stylish and fit well but the laces broke after just a few weeks of wear. I think if LLBean could reinforce the seam where the elastic laces are made into a loop, they'd be perfect!
